Chapter 22 - twenty two

"I'm not leaving you alone ever again," Young-Jae laughed. I playfully hit his arm and stuck my tongue out. He laughs again handing me a drink. I immediately shook my head making a disgusted face and he furrowed his brows.

"I don't drink, plus who's gonna handle you all if I get drunk?"

"Right, I keep forgetting that we have somebody to take care of us and she needs to be taken care of too. This is new for us you know, we've never shared our lives and home like we do with you, honey Bee," he took my hands in his and I smiled.

"I'll always take care of you guys. Always." I promised rubbing his hand with my thumb.

"You sound like you're doing a vow." he chuckled a little.

"If that's what you want then let's do it. Let's vow that we're gonna be there for each other till death do us part. You're family now, anything for my family," I shifted the barstool closer to him and kissed his knuckles.

"Till death do us part?" He asked, tone dripping with emotions I couldn't quite tell what.

"Till death do us part." I repeated firmly.

"It's not marriage or something, just a commitment. When there's no light at the end of the tunnel, I'll stand there with my flashlight on for you." I joked and he shook his head.

"You're getting sappier the more I get closer to you," He commented and I laughed, shrugging.

"We got next to nothing today," I said under my breath sighing disappointed.

"Hey, at least I got to see you in action and we all loosened up. It was quite a necessity with the way we've been ruled up by you," He nudged my side and I elbowed him in the gut.

"Ow, I swear you're nothing like a normal girl, fucking Female hulk." He growled wincing.

"You did not just call me that!" I gasped. He frantically looked around for help before ducking into his jacket. I smacked the back of his head and he flinched making me laugh. He looked at me and I scrunched my nose at him.

"I meant it, you're fucking strong bruh." He tried to act serious.

"I know," I said and he shook his head. I noticed how his skin glistened under the neon light of the bar making him appear even more prettier. Again, the girl's whipped. It reminded me of the first time we both cuddled, on the couch when he was having a night terror. I never asked him about it.

"Hey Young-Jae, can I ask you something?" he nodded. "Do you have regular night terrors?" His brows clash together for a second when he gulped down his whiskey.

A/N: TRIGGER WARNING (mention of mental health issues like PTSD and SAD.)

"They're not night terrors, it's PTSD. I had, uh, Separation Anxiety when I was a kid. I couldn't go anywhere without my mom and this one day she left me at my aunt's place to make me overcome my 'fear' as she said and I was so scared, Bee, so fucking anxious and scared, I just straight up passed out. I was just 10," He took in a shaky breath and I pulled him into my embrace getting up from my seat.

"You don't have to continue if you can't, okay?" I convinced him rubbing his back.

"No, it's good to open up once in a while", he said pulling away, arm around my waist now as I stood beside him and he drank from his glass again.

"So, uh, yeah, she left me there, I passed out when I woke up again my aunt wasn't anywhere to be found so I walked back home. Mom wasn't at home, dad told me she left. She never came back Bee, never in the last 16 years have I ever seen her again." He confessed chuckling sarcastically.

"So yeah, I developed PTSD after about a week of weeping and shaking with fear. Therapy, talking, sports, I tried anything and everything so it became minimal as I grew up but it comes back once in a while when I connect or talk to women," the bartender pours him another drink.

"So that day, it happened when you and I kinda fought," I completed for him and he nodded gulping another drink. I took the glass from his hand, set it down on the bar surface, and kissed his forehead. It was better not to say anything sometimes.

"Don't drink more than this, I'll go collect the boys okay?" I asked him softly and he nodded smiling.

I cut in through the crowd of drunk dancing strangers and found Jake and a girl grinding up against each other. I smiled at his piss drunk state and separated him from the girl. She looked at me weirdly, confused.

"I'm sorry, I have to take him home. You see, he's my best friend and as you know he's too drunk." I told her, smiling politely and she nodded while smiling too. I took Jake's arm wrapping it around my shoulder and he smiled with closed eyes. We both moved through the crowd towards the others sitting in groups of two.

Seok-Min was missing.

"Hi boys, let's go home?" Hyun and Trevor looked like somebody punched them.

"What's up with them?" I asked concerned.

I threw Jake into Nathan's arms and he carried Jake and Trevor both while Kyle held Hyun.

"They're just drunk bruh. Find Seok-Min and your lover boy, then done." Nathan said and I laughed shushing him. They all moved towards the exit while I went to look for Young-Jae and Seok-Min.

"Jae, let's go," I said shaking his shoulders. I found him drunker than before. Well, fuck.

"Ha, a honey bee's here," he joked, a little tipsy.

"Yes, come on, let's get you in the car." He nodded and we walked to the exit of the club.

"Where's Seok-Min?" I ask worriedly.

"We don't know where he is," Kyle replied and I grew more worried.

"I'll come with him, you guys go ahead", I waved them off.

"But honey, it's late!" Young-Jae exclaims. I smiled at his pouty face and pecked his lips.

"I'll be quick, mmkay?" He nodded and closed his eyes with his face in my hands. Cute.

They drove off after nagging at me to be safe and quick and I headed back into the club.

He must be drinking.

I swiveled towards the bar and spotted him alone sitting on a barstool drink in hand. There he was. I walked up to him and tapped on his back making him turn around.
