The beast roared as its right leg exploded to pieces, it hurt his eardrum and blood came out of his ear. This was probably the loudest roar he had ever heard. So much so that it made his ears bleed.
The sound made his head even more dizzy. Sight turned blurry. His whole body turned weak. The sword in his hand felt so heavy, so he let it fall to the ground.
'What happened to me?'

The beast stumbled but manage to get up and pounced on him.
It bared its sharp teeth about to chomp him, but then he saw someone jumping down from a thick branch and slammed his sword at the monster's head.
The blade struck clean.
