Chapter 32 - Chapter 32 Religion

The group walked through the forest.

The others simply look forward seemingly disinterested, but Aidan excitedly looked around the forest.

Everywhere he put his eyes, he would see weirds animals, trees, and plants. A few minutes ago, he found a plan that if he touched it, it would shoot a bean that explode after it touched his skin.

It didn't hurt that much, but it was cool to see. Sofiel told him that the plant was called bean popper. It couldn't be eaten, but it did look beautiful with its colorful leaves

Sofiel walked beside him, answering every question he had with a cheerful smile on her face.

Aidan couldn't help but have butterflies in his stomach. Her graceful and elegant body also made his thoughts go wild.

She was shorter than him which made her look even cuter. With a white dress and a book in hand, Sofiel walked beside Aidan. Their shoulders were almost touching each other.

Sofiel noticed his gaze. "Aidan are you hungry? Here have some bun."

Aidan smiled. He had just eaten earlier, so he wasn't hungry. But Aidan didn't have the heart to say no to this girl. "Yes, Sofiel. I'm very hungry."

Sofiel giggled. "Then why don't you say so." She handed him a white bun with a circle of green on top. This meant that there were green beans inside the bun.

Aidan grabbed the bun and took a bite. "Do you make these buns by yourself?"

"Yes. My father taught me how to make them. Is it good?"

"It's really good."

She smiled. "I'm glad. If you are hungry just come to me."

Aidan simply nodded.

The group walked ahead for a while. Nothing much happened except for Aidan who was still looking around for amazing stuff.

Sofiel also seemed to have the same interest as him. She knew a lot about animals and plants.

"How do you know so much?" Aidan asked.

"I often went to the forest back in my village. It was usually me and my father. We would collect plants and make medicine with them back home."

Aidan raised an eyebrow. "You can make medicine?"

"I know a thing or two about making medicine, but not as good as my father." She clutched her book onto her chest. The action made her supple breast even more… enticing.

Aidan swept the thoughts away. "So what is in that book?" Aidan asked, trying to distract his brain.

"Oh, this? This is a bible. My father is a priest from Jheyi."

"Bible?" Aidan raised one eyebrow, curious. They had religions in this world? Well, considering there were literally huge eels blocking the sky, and giant purple eyes appearing at random, of course, people were going to make a religion out of that.

They could even make a religion out of cows, so this wasn't surprising. People back on earth had long foregone the existence of gods. It was just impossible to find them. In the Star Exploring Era, humanities had looked far and beyond for their existence. Some people still believe in god. But they didn't force anyone to believe in their faith. And most faiths were being kept to each individual unless someone asked.

They found nothing except backward aliens' civilization. Of course, humans quickly conquered and eliminate them with a swift nuclear strike.

With the majority of the human population stopped believing in religion, people started to become more depressed. They had nothing to turn to when they felt down and helpless.

That was when the government came and created an organization to help these people. Most of them are old people on the brink of death though. The younger people were too busy playing games and having free entertainment.

Yeah, humanities were getting lazier each day. The primary reason for that was that there was no necessity to work since all basic necessities were free and available.

But it wasn't his concern anymore. The Inworld would be his new world. He didn't know why the billionaires put him here, or even if they truly put him here. Who knows it might be some kind of alien force that wanted to experiment on him.

He didn't care.

He just wanted to travel this world and see its beauty. He'd heard the teacher say something about trees making a civilization on their own. Maybe he should ask Sofiel if she was interested in traveling too, but he had to do it smoothly.

"So," Aidan said. "Are you going to become a priest?"

Sofiel shook her head. She had a slight smile on her lips. But Aidan could tell that it wasn't a smile of happiness. More like regret.

Was that her sensitive topic?

I shouldn't mention that ever again. Being kicked in the face by Siraye was a cold hard lesson for him.

People here might be open-minded about the diversity of race and religions, but he should know the boundaries of personal business.

And he should never cross them. EVER.

Aidan took a deep breath and poured courage into his heart. "Sofiel will you explore the world with me?"

"Explore the world? I am sorry, Aidan. But after graduating from Bleassephere University I will return to my village and help around."

"I—I see." Aidan looked down. That was awkward. It took his everything to say that words, but in the end… he failed. Now he just wanted to hide under a blanket for the embarrassment.

No, Aidan. Don't let failure make you hide from the world. Failure will knock you down over and over, but the difference between a loser and a winner is that winners always rise after they fall!

Gomon glanced at him and approached. "Tough up, Aidan," he whispered. "Don't worry too much about one girl. Back in my early days, I use to have five at once. I'll give you some tricks about conquering women later okay?"

Aidan smiled and nodded. There was no way in hell he would believe that!

Gomon's height was lower than Aidan's waist, so when the short man said the early days, the girls probably mistook him for a baby and took care of him.

Aidan got jealous just thinking about it.

"Alright," Aidan said. "We'll talk later."
