At breakfast the next morning, Rowena discussed with Daimon her plans for Zella. He readily agreed with her ideas. He saw no harm in them and Rowena was happier when she was occupied. He had little time to spend entertaining her. And he knew she was greatly bothered about something.
He also didn't mention that he saw her writing. But he would ask Killian about it. Killian could confirm if the Solarillon Kingdom spoke and wrote in the common tongue of the Empire. He didn't know what it meant, but it planted a tiny seed of doubt in his heart about his wife.
After a hearty breakfast, they parted to attend to their various tasks. Once again, he left her with a promise to meet her for dinner that evening.
