Prince Helios finished his tale with a dramatic flourish.
Rowena clapped happily at the conclusion of his story.
"Oh!" she gushed breathlessly. "That was amazing! You must be so proud of such a glorious history." She said.
Daimon knew her words hid her true feelings, but he admired her ability to keep them hidden. He had to give her credit for being the consummate diplomat. Although he couldn't help but wonder if she was always honest with him.
He shook his head to clear his negative thoughts. Now was not the time to be thinking such things.
"I must admit we are quite proud of our heritage and lineage." Prince Helios admitted with no small amount of pride. He preened under her admiration.
