Daimon was reluctant to let Rowena go, but he was anxious to speak with Killian and Zhan. Rowena made the choice for him by returning to her lessons.
The three men went to Daimon's study where they could speak in private. Daimon and Zhan briefed Killian on the events of the past few weeks.
Killian listened quietly. His expressionless face and motionless posture belied that his quick mind that was taking everything in. His mind was already calculating a million possibilities as it catalogued and synthesized the bits of information he received. Despite his calm demeanor, he was already positing and rejecting possible scenarios as well as deciding on new avenues of questions and research.
