At breakfast the next morning, Rowena decided to ask her husband about the religion of the Dragorian Empire. She waited until he was comfortably seated and had eaten a few bites before she spoke.
"Husband, I'm very interested in learning more about your religion." She broached the topic lightly unsure of what his reaction would be.
"I'm afraid I don't know much about it." He admitted. He never paid much attention to it before and hardly spent any time maintaining the religious traditions of his father.
"I've never been required to participate in it."
"Why? I thought it was essential to Dragorian culture."
"I've killed too much. It kind of goes against the teachings of the Church."
She nodded but added almost to herself, "hypocrisy has never stopped people from participating in religious observations before."
