Chapter 1 - Light weight

Hmmmm Where am I? I thought as I casually assessed the situation around me. I'm warm , and I can't move, nor can I open my eyes. After feeling tension for a few seconds ,I felt a new sensation on my head.  My head felt cold. It was an odd feeling both uncomfortable and refreshing. While thinking this, I heard a feminine voice Say Congratulations Serbia, you've given birth to a healthy baby boy.

I was shocked that I understood this language. The words felt both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. As if once upon a time I knew them, but they had changed. After a while I looked at the woman who birthed me, who I now know was called Serbia. She had dark skin with curly black hair and a hint of concern on her face as she asked if it was normal for children to not cry when they were born. Instantly I knew I had to do something, human fear knows no bounds. I could become a test subject in a lab somewhere, I thought. I began whaling my ass off. It was really hard. Honestly, in my opinion, it was worthy of an Oscar. But, this seemed to scare her even more.  "Why is he crying so hard? '' She asked. God, what do you want from me, lady?! I don't give you enough, you whine. I give you too much, you whine God, what is this, Goldilocks.  So I dialed back the performance just a bit, just so it was barely noticeable. This seemed to calm her down a little bit.

The nurse holding me handed me over to my mother while saying "This is quite normal ".

After a while a hoarse masculine voice was heard. My son looks just like me with a hint of his mother. This made my mother chuckle. Would you like to hold him, Ronnie? I'm kind of tired. Ronnie, the person I assumed to be my father, looked just like my mother in that he had dark skin and curly black hair; he happily nodded and came over. He was so happy I could see tears in his eyes. Summers came over with a handheld device that looks similar to handheld scanners you would see in a walstore. Yep, your baby is healthy. After scanning my whole body. After a couple more minutes, my mother sat up and declared you shall be Malcolm. A few days later we left the hospital and went home.

When we got home they put me in a playpen. It wasn't long before I got bored and drifted into my imagination . Before I knew it The balls around me started lifting off the ground and floating in the air . I stared intently at the floating balls and for a split second considered putting one of them in my mouth. But it was just a split second. But again I became fearful. Humans are very scary creatures. They'll take me apart just to see how I do what I do. I thought of the moment all the balls dropped. Making a pretty loud sound that attracted the attention of my parents. I made sure to cry a whole lot because that's what my mom seemed to like.

After a while of living with them I came to understand that we were considered an upper middle class family. However, we didn't live lavishly. Because of that, they earned a great amount of respect for me.

As I grew up I learned a lot about my ability. However, I only had one rule and that was to never use it in front of other people.

But I learned that my ability wasn't telekinesis. It was gravity manipulation.

I also figured out that the more weight I can lift with my ability, the stronger my body becomes to composite for the new stronger gravity. For me the most noticeable was my skin due to the fact that I learned how to fly using my ability. It wasn't hard just to reduce or reverse gravity and pull yourself forward. At full speed I could fly just under Mach 1, so about 702 - 715 mph, and the only special clothing I have to wear are clothes that aren't I barely more than ashes after 600 mph

I did get into virtual reality recently. Full dive games have been out for around 25 years. I've learned a lot about fighting strategies and even made some friends. I've become quite the legend earning me the title Crimson Aces.

"Ding Dong" the bell sounded, signifying the end of the school day. As I walked out of the school building in my usual black hoodie in black pants, my five friends came up behind me. Jacob put one of his arms around my shoulders and said " you down for some VR today"  At that moment the sky went dark; however, it was not night. I looked around with slight confusion. Seconds later, tremendous pressure fell from the sky, forcing everyone to their knees Everyone except me
