As he stared at all his friends kneeling on the ground, he became even more confused. After about a minute of standing there in a daze, he tried to use his ability to reverse gravity to its normal state However, it didn't work. It wasn't that the pressure was too great. It was the fact that his ability didn't work at all. After about 2 more minutes the pressure stopped. Gasps could be heard all around the building, as if everybody had just taken a deep dive. In the next moment a shiver ran down everybody's spine as a blood-curdling scream of fear could be heard. Three separate growls and shrieks which sounded like the howls of Beast. Knowing something was wrong, he quickly helped his friends up and yelled at them to run.
"BOOM"
"CRASSH"
What looked like a humanoid wolf crashed through a wall. It grabbed one of the running students and started to have a little snack. Jacob fell on his ass "W-W-What the hell is that maaaan?!" He shouted as his voice trembled. Malcolm stared at him for a split second considering leaving him behind. He ran back, looked Jacob in the eyes, and said "You idiot, I told you to run" while grabbing his collar and lifting him off the ground. All six of them went in the same direction because they all lived in the same area. After they felt like they had got far enough away, they stopped to catch their breath. While everybody else could barely stand, Malcolm watched the direction they came from without any sign of fatigue. Martha, Amy and Jess, the three girls in the group, sat down. Jess started crying with the other two girls trying to console her. The guys watched the situation with a mixture of emotions on their faces but mostly fear. Guys usually don't display this much emotion, so they didn't know what to do. Richie, the nerd of the group, got up and walked towards the boys ."Never thought I'd hear the sapphire witch cry" He said upon getting to them.
"PING
At that moment a ping resounded in all of their heads. Eyes widened and heads confusedly turned. Richie pushed his glasses up towards the bridge of his nose again and said "Judging from your reactions, guys see it too. "Oh, thank God," Richard and Jacob said at the same time. Malcolm looked at the message and became even more confused than he was before; all it gave him was more questions.

Malcolm Blanked for a second, not understanding what he saw. Isn't this supposed to be like a game? How come I have infinite strength, agility, and intelligence? Is it because with my other ability I can make my body stronger? He thought. But one things for sure my ability interfered with the system making it glitch.
Finally Malcolm decided to move on and check his inventory. "Inventory" he thought.

After exiting all the tabs, he decided to try out his so-called new ability. He decided to start out with something small. He put his thumb and index fingers close together and after a moment of focusing a spark of lightning lighted between them like a taser. Instinctively like it was edged in his soul, he knew that his electric ability was already on par with his gravity manipulation. Making him wonder just how many watts he could spit out. He opened his palms and pointed them at each other, letting electricity flow between them. It was about the width of a snake. A smile bloomed on Malcolm's face. At that moment the others started waking up. Malcolm quickly stopped channeling the electricity, yet he couldn't hide this smile on his face.
They all flinched in a quirk of a brow when they saw his overly joyous smile, which bordered on insanity. You shook his head and said "just check your statuses"
The sound of six people saying "statuses" resounded. They all got what they were seeing. Malcolm just smirked and sat back down. Richie was even more ecstatic than Malcolm. Richie pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and yelled "shapeshifting, yee yesssss" In his eyes, this was the best outcome.
He loved biology and understood almost everything there was to know about the most common animals. Like things you would find at the zoo. The first thing he wanted to try was a wolf, he thought. thought in detail about all the traits of a wolf; it's organs and features for paw, etc. Eventually he felt his body shrinking and becoming hairy. He stepped out of the clothes that he was originally in and opened his eyes and found that his eyesight was much better than it was. Everybody else except Malcolm gasped. They had all thought this was a sick joke played on them by one of their classmates until then.
