While drake was talking to the NPC of the small village he started to organize all the thoughts he had to make sure everything that he knew is still intact. He didn't want himself gaining powerful abilities to completely derail the timeline because then new events out of his control would happen and he really wouldn't know where to go from there.
Drake finished talking to the blacksmith of the village and started heading towards 'Ariana', who was the resident cloth and clothes maker in this village. Every village, city or town has at least 3 NPC in it, which are the Leader, in this case that was the village chief Isaiah. Then there is the armoury or blacksmith, which in this case was a younger man known as 'Fern'. Finally there is the clothes and cloth maker which is where he was heading towards now.
The first place he had visited had been to gain the village chiefs trust and gain sir wakes swordsmanship, battle monsters outside this village and then go dungeon crawling but now he had to slightly alter that plan. Drake was really hoping that him coming back to this time and changing events doesn't make major events occur that didn't happen in his past life.
He was walking to Ariana clothes shop which was a quick 3 minute walk in the small village and went over what the blacksmith had told him. 'Yes Sir Silver it is the same as in your kingdom however there may be subtle differences there so i shall tell you our system..'. The young blacksmith was good at his job and explained things very clearly which was actually a rarity as some city NPC just flat out wouldn't explain how tiers with different parts of the game work. The blacksmith had told him about how they judged an equipment rarity and the different levels to it. The judging part is fairly easy for players picking up items and such, but for NPC and players alike who are crafting armour and weapons you don't know the rarity of a weapon you have personally forged until you set an item on it called a 'spinner'. This was its community name as in-game it didn't have a name it was just something every blacksmith shop had. So the community at the time had taken to calling them spinners as they spun on top of weapons and armours when telling you the rarity of an item.
The blacksmith continued on,' First is the grey equipment, this is what we call common, or very low grade. Second is green, which is uncommon, and then there is blue which is a rare piece of equipment. From blue coloured armour in the rare category onwards, you can craft 'sets', which are basically full armour sets that enhance better together as a set then alone individually. Fourth in line is purple or epic quality armour, this is the armour most royal guards of kingdoms wear. Fifth is white, not to be confused with grey, white is actually semi-legendary equipment, this is what kings wear when not at war for protection. The sixth armour type is gold and this is legendary grade, this is a king's grade war armour or weapon. Then last is the seventh type, of which only one in the entire world has been discovered, the 7th grade is mythical grade, this one is a deep red colour. Though I wouldn't worry about this last one, as it is very near impossible to get mythical grade equipment, and it has been over 300 years since the first one was discovered.'
Drake snapped back to himself as he was at Arianas home. He went inside, asked her about the clothes she wore, made, bought from others, sold and of course asked about clothing tiers. She gives a very similar speech to that of the blacksmith Fern, however she revealed that only semi-legendary clothes have been made in this world so far according to her knowledge. Normally you would take what NPC's in a small village like this one with a grain of salt as they should not have all this information. Adella Online worked with individual A.I. for every NPC, so NPC that should not know certain things like the fact that a mythical grade sword or a semi-legendary piece of clothing have been made in this world, so they wouldn't even begin to know what you were referring too. The developers wanted to make this game as open and free as possible and other than some war events and special events like chinese new year would never push peace or war on anyone as that was the players decision to do so. The reason that Drake knew that these NPC were not lying was because of a secret the village chief revealed as he was dying in the first great war of Adella Online. All the NPC originally in that village were all descendants or original members of the Klasten Empire's Royal Military. Everything they told him was real, and he knew that, so instead of brushing off the information he gave a lot of respect to every villager here.
As Drake left Ariana's he walked around the village and looked at what the people in this territory were doing and what they did to pass the time. Obviously, the people in this village were keen on surviving so they did jobs that commoners would do such as farming, wall fortification and other menial jobs to ensure the safety and productivity of the village. Drake talked to some of the other villagers for a while, walking around town until a young man walked up to him.
Drake looked at the young man walking up to him and realized that this was a player! He bowed to the player despite not needing to, he didn't know this guy and this guy didn't know him but he was playing a righteous character to fool the chief and until he claimed a barony at the least, would need to put up with this charade of his. The two young men looked at each other for a moment before Drake spoke,"Hello! My name is Drake, what's yours?"
The young man looked at him and said aloud,"My name is 'Locomadre' in this game but most of my real life friends just call me Loco."
Drake suddenly stopped smiling and looked at the young man in front of him with more respect now. This was a massive deal as the number 1 player in the world in his past life, was now standing in front of him as a level 1 new player! Drake then quickly caught his slack-jaw expression and said to him."Well good sir, I have made my rounds of this village and I have just seen you, if I may, might I suggest something to you?"
Loco looked at him with a bit of a confused look and said,"Ok, go ahead?"
Drake then said, "I am currently working on gaining a rare class from the village chief, so if you are looking for a good class here, I am sorry but it is being taken and won't be available for at least another 3 weeks."
Loco instantly knew what this meant and had a sad and forlorn look on his face but nonetheless said to Drake,"Thank you brother for this kindness, I must find a good class to start out with and I thought I might be able to get here."
Drake then look at him and said,"Well, I have been collecting information from the villagers and looking around the village for quite some time. I know of a class that's pretty valuable that's about a 20 minute walk from here if you're interested?"
Loco looked a bit suspicious and said to him," I don't really trust you but I guess it wouldn't hurt to check it out."
Drake then said to him in a cheerful tone," That's the spirit my new brother! Ok, so basically from here go…" Drake then explained exactly where to go, and gave very precise directions while also not flatout giving the information to him of where it was. After All if someone told you where something was, where is the adventure of finding it yourself? The reason that Drake was doing this for Loco was because if he got Loco a strong class, he could potentially have a very strong ally as he was the one who told Loco about it.
Loco thanked Drake and asked one more thing before he left,"Hey, If I do get a good class I will let you know! Add me as a friend!"
