The next Morning.
"And that was how I had the worst date of my life till now" said Pete as he shook his head.
"Oh hahaha" said Natasha as she laughed, this was just too funny.
"Oh haha, alright, it was not that funny, you can stop laughing now" said Pete as he drank his coffee, he and Natasha were currently have brunch together.
"How can you say that Pete??" asked Natasha as she tried to calm herself down.
"It's just that, how can you have such a bad date experience??" asked Natasha as she drank her tea.
"I mean, it's one thing for your date to show up like she just came from some sort of 80's party, and it's another thing entirely when she asks you if you could arrest her ex-boyfriend for her??" said Natasha as she laughed once again.
"That's what I get for letting my mom set up a blind date for me, and she told her everything" said Pete as he face-palmed himself and he sighed.
"Oh, how is Mrs. Lawson anyway?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"It's been a long time since I've seen her" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Oh well she is fine, she was asking about you just last week" said Pete as he laughed and he put down his coffee.
"She is so fine that she even has more than enough time to plan blind dates for me" said Pete as he sighed.
"Oh haha, Mrs. L is really something else, you would think she would at least have a good list on her hands" said Natasha as she laughed, and she thought she was odd? Nope that woman Pete went on a date on was even weirder.
"Oh you know, she's been bugging me lately about getting married" said Pete as he shook his head.
"I mean I agree with her, when are you going to settle down?" asked Natasha as she drank her tea.
"Well you know who I would have loved to settle down with Nat" said Pete as he looked at Natasha and he smiled sadly at her.
"Oh Pete, please don't go there, I came here to have a good time, and not to remember all my problems" said Natasha as she sighed and she shook her head, and Pete smiled sadly at her.
Natasha could tell you that the main reason she did not talk to Pete back in her last life was because he was one of those were against her marrying Dom, and she shunned him off and did it anyway, and whenever she saw him, she felt like she had let him down, and she could not handle that at all.
Every time she looked into his eyes, she could see the disappointment that he tried so hard to hide.
"Okay Nat, I won't go there" said Pete as he smiled.
"Thank you Pete, Thank you" said Natasha as she smiled at him, she was very stupid in the past for ever thinking that Pete did not care for her, in fact she was sure that he had cried for her when she died.
"So what happened to the woman you are in love with??" asked Natasha.
"You still have refused to tell me who she is" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Why don't you try dating her instead?" asked Natasha.
"Well she is off limits" said Pete as he sighed.
"What do you mean she's off limits?" asked Natasha and Pete looked at her.
"Don't tell me that she is married??" asked Natasha.
"Well yes she is" said Pete as he nodded his head.
"Pete, how could you fall in love with a married woman??" asked Natasha as she could not believe Pete right now.
"Well she does not love her husband and her husband does not love her at all" said Pete.
"That does not matter, that still does not justify the fact that you are in love with a married woman!" said Natasha as she looked at Pete, she was going to have to set him straight, there was no way she was letting him get involved with a married woman, she was sure that he would do the same for her.
"Whatever the reason is between her husband and her does not matter, it's none of your business, they have to settle their own matters, but she cannot break up with her husband because of you" said Natasha.
"Gosh Pete, of all the women you could fall in love with, why a married woman?" asked Natasha as she shook her head.
"Well she was not married when I fell in love with her" said Pete.
"That still does not matter, that was then, but now she is married, and I never took you as a marriage destroyer Pete" said Natasha.
"Alright Nat I hear you, remember I said she was off limits" said Pete as he sighed.
"Oh you better know that, she is off limits Pete, off limits" said Natasha.
"Oh if only you knew" said Pete to himself as he sighed.
"You know what, we have to find a way for you to get over her, you need a girlfriend" said Natasha.
"Not you too Nat, I don't need to be set up" said Pete.
"No Pete, you do, and I have the perfect person in mind for you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Nat" said Pete.
"Oh don't Nat me Pete, trust me, you need to get her out of your mind" said Natasha.
"*Sigh*, alright fine then" said Pete as he sighed, he knew that he was not getting out of this at all, and maybe Natasha was right, he did not to get over the one he loved, she was truly off limits.
"Alright, you will see Pete this will be good for you, trust me" said Natasha as she smiled and she brought out her phone.
"I always trust you" said Pete as he smiled and Natasha smiled at him.
"Ooof she's not picking up the phone, she muse be busy then" said Natasha as the call entered voicemail.
"I will just send her a text, and I will tell her that I have a very, very handsome man for her to meet, he's strong, caring and most of all he had the best Job ever" said Natasha as she texted and she laughed.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself" said Pete as he laughed.
"Who is she anyway?" asked Pete.
"Well she is my very good friend, and I think you have never met her since she only recently come back home" said Natasha.
"I see" said Pete.
"Yes" said Natasha as she put away her phone.
"When she finally picks my call, then I will speak to her, and send you her number so you guys can meet" said Natasha as she laughed.
"That sounds alright" said Pete.
"Ahh which reminds me Pete, how far with my firearms license?" asked Natasha.
"I thought you would forget" said Pete as he laughed.
"Nope, I never forget important things" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Of course you don't" said Pete as he shook his head, she should have said that she does not forget gun related things.
"Well your applications had been processed, and you have been granted the license, all you need to do is come and pick it up at the station tomorrow as a formality" said Pete as he smiled.
"Yessss" said Natasha as she smiled, she was finally legally allowed to use a gun.
"I will be there tomorrow afternoon" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself Nat" said Pete as he shook his head, she got so excited over the most silly things.
"You still need to go gun shopping, I will be free on Tuesday, so we can go then" said Pete as he smiled.
"Yess, Thank you Pete" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Gun shopping sounds much more like it, regular shopping can be so boring, don't you think?" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"Nat, please tell me which planet you are from?" asked Pete as he face-palmed himself, he could not help but laugh, she just sounded so silly right now.
"Hi my name's Natasha, and I am from planet earth" said Natasha as she brought her hand out to shake Pete's.
"Get that hand away from me" said Pete as he lightly tapped her hand away as he laughed and Natasha laughed too.
"Pete please promise me that we will never stop being friends" said Natasha as she smiled at him sadly, she really cherished his friendship, what would she have done without him??
"Of course, always and forever" said Pete as he smiled at her.
"And please never leave me" said Natasha.
"I will never leave, believe me, even if I wanted to, I cannot, I am glued to you" said Pete as he smiled at her and he held her hand.
"Thank you" said Natasha as she smiled at him.
"Anytime" said Pete as he smiled at her, he would never leave her, not even if she wanted him to.
