"Hello" said Natasha as she picked up her phone that was ringing as she locked her car with her car key and she was walking up to the main door of the house.
"Hello Natasha" came Lia's voice from the other side of the line as she smiled.
"I called you earlier today, and you didn't pick up" said Natasha as she stopped walking.
"Ahh yes, well I saw your missed call" said Lia.
"Sorry, I was in a meeting when you called and I put my phone on silent" said Lia as she laughed.
"Oh well that is alright" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Yayyyy" said Lia as she smiled.
"So what's up, what did you call me for?" asked Lia as she smiled.
"Well Lia, you still don't have a boyfriend do you?" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"Ugh, please don't remind me Natasha, my mom asks me the same thing all the time, she wants me to get married already" said Lia a she face-palmed herself and she shook her head as she sighed.
"Haha, well that's good" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Oh is It now?" asked Lia as she laughed.
"Sorry, I meant it's good that you don't have a boyfriend, because I have someone for you to meet" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Oh, because for one second there I was wondering what you were talking about" said Lia as she laughed and Natasha laughed.
"So who do you have in mind to introduce me to?" asked Lia as she smiled.
"Well his name is Peter Lawson, he is my very good friend, and he is also the commander of Police" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Oooh, he is very high profile Natasha" said Lia as she laughed.
"Yes he is" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Is he handsome?" asked Lia.
"Oh trust me, he is very handsome" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Alright, alright" said Lia as she seemed to be liking what she was hearing.
"He is also very responsible, just please don't ask him to arrest your ex-boyfriend" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Haha well that is no problem at all, I don't have any" said Lia as she laughed.
"Are you sure you did not have just even one?" asked Natasha.
"I mean you were abroad for long, you should have caught the eye of some foreign men??" asked Natasha as she laughed and she winked.
"Oh Natasha, I mean sure yes some foreign guys have approached me, but I have always turned them down" said Lia as she laughed.
"Well how come?" asked Natasha, Lia was a very pretty woman, they had grown up together, and she was her very good friend, Natasha was sure that Lia must have at least had someone in mind that she liked.
"Well it's just that I have always had someone else in my heart" said Lia.
"Oh… do I know him?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Well yes you do know him Natasha" said Lia as she smiled.
"Well then if you already have someone, why would you want to go out with Pete?" asked Natasha.
"Well I want to at least try to get him out of my head and heart, he has refused me so many times now that it just hurts me whenever I see him, I cannot pretend with my feelings anymore" said Lia as she sighed.
"Oh… I am so sorry Lia" said Natasha as she felt bad for Lia, Lia was a good woman and she deserved to be happy just like everyone else.
"Well don't be Natasha" said Lia as she smiled.
"But does he have someone else?? Maybe that is why he keeps on rejecting you?" asked Natasha.
"Well yes… yes, he has someone else" said Lia.
"Although their relationship is nothing of that sort at all" said Lia.
"He just feels obliged to care for a woman that he does not even love" said Lia.
"That must hurt doesn't it?" asked Natasha.
"Oh Natasha, you cannot imagine it at all" said Lia.
"But wait, who exactly are you talking about?" asked Natasha.
"You said that I know him" said Natasha.
"Yes… yes you do know him" said Lia.
"And well… his name is… his name is…" said Lia as she hesitated.
"It's alright Lia if you don't want to tell me who it is" said Natasha.
"Oh thank you Natasha, I just feel so embarrassed" said Lia as she laughed awkwardly.
"Well don't be" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Everyone deserves to be loved" said Natasha.
"Well yes… which is why I want to at least try to find someone else… because my mom has decided to make it her personal mission to annoy me to death" said Lia as she laughed.
"Well this will be great, Pete has the same problem with his mother, it's like you two were destined to meet" said Natasha as she laughed, this would work out nicely, they were both trying to get away from their mothers who were pressuring them, and they were both also trying to get over people who were not meant for them.
"I hope that is the case" said Lia as she smiled.
"Alright, so I will just text you his number, and you two can start talking from there, and you can tell me how the dates goes" said Natasha as she smiled, she was excited to matchmake her two single friends, who she both loved very much.
"Okay Natasha, thank you" said Lia as she smiled.
"Anytime Lia, you know you can count on me anytime" said Natasha as she smiled and Lia smiled.
"Oooh Natasha, I heard that you bought a new car" said Lia as she finally remembered.
"Well news does really travel fast doesn't it??" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"Oh you know how we are" said Lia as she laughed.
"Michael told me when I called him yesterday" said Lia as she smiled.
"Mhmm" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Well yes, I did buy a new car" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Oooh, good for you Natasha, you did need your own car, there is nothing better than being mobile" said Lia as she smiled.
"I agree with you on that Lia, I truly do" said Natasha as she laughed.
"I am going to drop Joy off at School on Monday" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Oooh that is going to be so fun" said Lia as she smiled.
"Joy goes to Scholars Academy does she not?" asked Lia.
"Mhmm yes she does Lia" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Oooh, I want to see the car, can I come over?" asked Lia as she smiled.
"Oh well you know that you are always welcome over here" said Natasha.
"Yayyy, what about I come over on Wednesday? Would that be alright??" asked Lia as she smiled.
"Oh course Wednesday would be perfect" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Great!!" said Lia as she smiled.
"Well I will see you later Natasha, I am currently working on a new programme for one of my clients" said Lia as she wrote down something on a piece of paper.
"Well alright Lia, I will see you later" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Bye, I love you" said Lia as she smiled.
"I love you too Lia" said Natasha as she smiled and Lia ended the call.
Natasha smiled as she proceeded to walk to the front door, when she was suddenly stopped by another person yet again.
"Oh Mrs. White, please wait" came the voice of a young woman as she ran to catch up with Natasha.
"Oh Hello Betty, Good Morning" said Natasha as she stopped walking and she turned to look at the dark haired girl with brown eyes.
"Good Morning Mrs. White, I am sorry for disturbing you" said the girl name Betty as she smiled and she stopped in front of Natasha.
"No that is no problem at all Betty it's alright" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Ahh Thank you Mrs. White" said Betty as she smiled.
"I came here to bring you the car seat that Miss Chloe asked me to give you" said Betty as she showed Natasha the car seat.
"I am sorry I brought it over late, I had to wash it first as it was very dusty" said Betty as she smiled and she gave Natasha the car seat.
"That is no problem at all Betty, thank you" said Natasha as she smiled and she collected the car seat from Betty.
"I will just put it here" said Natasha as she walked to her car and she opened it and put the car seat inside.
"There" said Natasha as she closed the car door and she smiled.
"Well Mrs. White, I need to go now, I have so much work to do" said Betty as she smiled.
"Oh well alright then Betty, have a good day" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Thank you Mrs. White, and the same to you" said Betty as she smiled and she walked away down the street.
