"Tasha did you have fun??" asked a young brown haired man with brown eyes as he looked down at little Natasha who was holding his hand as they walked together.
"Yes Daddy, I had lots of fun" said Natasha as she smiled.
"That is great sweetie" said the man as he smiled.
"And who were those other boys that I saw you playing with??" he asked as he stopped walked and he looked down at Natasha.
"Daddy those are my new friends, they were playing with me" said Natasha.
"Is that so??" he asked as they began to walk again.
"Yes Daddy, they said that they also live here, and that it's going to be nice here" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Well they are right about that" he said as he smiled.
"Daddy have you finished packing??" asked Natasha as she looked up.
"Well not yet my sweetie, packing and unpacking takes such a long time, and the moving company is yet to send all our things here" he said.
"But not to worry, we will soon have all our things here, so we can settle in nicely okay sweetie??" he asked as he looked at Natasha.
"Okay Daddy" said Natasha as she nodded and she looked at her father.
Natasha and he father crossed the street and they walked towards a very big house, this was the new house that her father had bought, it was way, way bigger than the house they were living in before, this house had six bedrooms, which was an upgrade from the three bedroom apartment they lived in before.
"You are going to love it here sweetie" he said as he smiled.
"And you will soon start going to school again" he said.
"Okay Daddy" said Natasha as she nodded and her father let go of her hand as he searched for the house keys in his pocket, but he was interrupted by someone.
"Good Evening" came the voice of not too young man with a few grey hairs in his hair.
"Oh Good Evening" said Natasha's father as he turned around to meet the man who was talking to him.
"I am Ernest White, I live just down the street, and I was just wondering, I have never seen you here before" said Ernest as he seemed to be thinking whether he could recall ever seeing this man in the estate before.
"Ahh that is because I just recently moved here with my family" said Natasha's father as he smiled.
"Oh I see no wonder your face was not familiar" said Ernest as he laughed.
"Yes" said Natasha's father as he laughed.
"My name is Larry Cole, Nice to meet you" said Larry as he brought hand out for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too young man, like I said earlier, I am Ernest White" said Ernest as he shook Larry's hand.
"I just live down the street" he said as he let go of Larry's hand.
"This is a very peaceful estate and neighbour, and please do not hesitate to ask for help if you need anything, anything at all" said Ernest as he smiled.
"We are like one big family here, we always help each other, and you are no exception" said Ernest.
"Thank you, Mr. Ernest, I really appreciate that" said Larry as he smiled.
"This seems like the best neighborhood for my family" said Larry.
"Oh believe me it is" said Ernest as he smiled, his good friend was the owner of this estate, but he did not live in the country, he lived abroad, and being the good friend that he was, Ernest decided to look after the estate for his friend.
So you could have said that he was the overseer of the entire estate, he knew almost everyone that lived here, which was why he was shocked when he had learnt that one of the vacant houses was just purchased, and he came by here to check who the newest member of the estate was.
"Hello" said Natasha as she peeked behind her father and she looked at the man who looked old, she was curious as to who he was, and why he was talking to her daddy.
"Oh hello" said Ernest as he turned to look at the little girl who was peeking behind Larry.
"Natasha come out and greet the nice man" said Larry as he looked down at Natasha and she nodded and stopped hiding behind him.
"Mr. White, this is my daughter Natasha" said Larry.
"Natasha this is one of our neighbors Mr. White" said Larry as he turned to look at Natasha with a smile.
"Good Evening Mr. White" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Good Evening dear, how are you?" asked Ernest as he smiled, he had never seen such a nice young girl before, and she was very polite too.
"I am very good, and how are you Mr. White??" asked Natasha as she smiled and Larry turned to look at her and then at Mr. White.
"It's alright" said Ernest as he looked at Larry.
"I am doing well dear, thank you for asking" said Ernest as he smiled and he looked at Natasha and Natasha smiled.
Natasha had asked him how he was because whenever her mommy or daddy asked how she was she would always reply and ask them back, she did not see anything wrong with it.
In all honesty Larry admired the braveness of the little girl, he found her very cute and she did not seem scared at all.
"Mr. Cole, I was wondering if you would like to join us this Saturday for our monthly estate gathering" said Ernest.
"We usually have one gathering for everyone to meet and catch up once a month, and this Saturday just happens to be one of those Saturdays" said Ernest.
"We could easily turn it into a welcome party for you to get to know all the other neighbors and be welcomed into the estate properly" said Ernest as he smiled.
"You present a tempting offer" said Larry as he smiled.
"Oh please say yes Mr. Cole" said Ernest as he smiled and Larry seemed to be thinking.
"Thank you for your offer Mr. White, I would gladly attend" said Larry as he smiled.
"No need to to thank me at all, we are all neighbors here" said Ernest as he smiled.
"My son and his wife live just across the street from me with their son, in case I am not around, you can just ask them for anything you need" said Ernest as he smiled.
"Thank you really Mr. White" said Larry as he smiled.
"Don't mention it" said Ernest as he smiled.
"Anyway, let me leave you two to settle in now" said Ernest.
"Alright, thank you once again" said Larry as he smiled and Ernest smiled once again.
"Goodbye Natasha" said Ernest as he turned to look at Natasha.
"Goodbye" said Natasha as she waved at Ernest with a smile as he smiled at her and walked his way.
"What a very nice man" said Larry to himself as he finally found the house keys and he opened the main door to the house.
The house was dark and empty, but Larry found a light switch and the house became bright.
"It is so empty daddy" said Natasha as she looked around, she could hear a echo in the very big house as she spoke.
"Yes my Tasha, we will fill his whole space up soon" said Larry as he smiled and he looked at Natasha.
"Yayyy" said Natasha as she laughed and sneezed, everywhere was just too dusty.
"Daddy my nose is itchy" said Natasha as she sneezed once again.
"The house must be dusty" said Larry as he walked over and he got a broom from the corner.
"It makes sense, I heard that this house has been vacant for a long time" said Larry as he began to sweep and dust and dark started to gather up.
"Very, very dusty" said Natasha as she saw the dust and dirt forming.
"Let me help you daddy" said Natasha with a smile.
"Alright my dear, just be careful not to hurt yourself" said Larry as he smiled at Natasha.
"Okay Daddy, I won't" said Natasha as she smiled and she walked over to get another broom lying by the corner and she began to sweep as she held the broom with her tiny little hands.
Larry looked at his daughter and he smiled, she was always very responsible.
"Well what do you want me to cook for dinner tonight sweetie??" asked Larry as he smiled.
"Daddy can you make mommy's favourite tonight??" asked Natasha very quickly.
"Beef stroganoff and rice" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Of course sweetie" said Larry as he smiled.
"I will make what you asked for" said Larry as he smiled at his beautiful daughter.
"Yayyyy" said Natasha as she smiled very happily.
