Spencer and I explodes through the hospital doors and without a second to waste and took the stairs to Charlie's room instead.
There were a good number of doctors and nurses around him with some of the nurses crying in the room as we walked in.
"He woke up and called out your name but you weren't here, h-he went into a cardiac arrest and we tried all we could but we couldn't save him." The head nurse said struggling to hold back her tears.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't do anything for him. Forgive me Adira." She continued in tears.
I walked slowly to Charlie as the nurses cleared the way for me and sat down by his bed side, looking at Charlie now he just looked like he was sleeping peacefully.
