" Hey you wake up. Ryndor crank up the spirit juice. Some hero we've almost maxed out the input and you're still just floating there. You're gonna miss your chance."
"Ugh where am I?" Greysen opened his eyes and looked around. Everything was kind of a Greyish Green color.
"About time, some hero you are you almost missed your chance."
Greysen had been reading a lot of cultivation novels before died and this seemed strange, but familiar. He decided to make some inquiries."So where am I then, and why do you call me a hero? Is this the Reincarnation cycle? Can I pick some traits?" Greysen figured these would be the best questions.
"Oh you are a smart one. How'd you ever become a hero, let me take a look. Oh that's disappointing, you traded your life for a loved one, tragic. However you are a man after my own heart a true scholar. I'll give you two traits instead of the usual one as long as you can tell me where you're being reincarnated."
"Hmmm well where I'm being reincarnated...."
"Don't answer that, Nefrite you can go now." Ryndor stepped in and stopped her.
"Spoilsport." Nefrite stuck her tongue out at Ryndor as she left.
"You're being reincarnated as a cultivator, and you've earned two traits, one for being a hero and one for being a true scholar. Do you know which ones you'd like to pick."
Greysen was excited cultivation, he'd literally been dreaming about this. A lot of the books he had read cultivation varied but the one thing they all had in common was the hero always had a great foundation and immense comprehension.
"I'd like godly comprehension and a titan like foundation." Greysen was actually impressed with himself his voice didn't shake when he said that.
"You really are a scholar and to think most people who get a choice usually ask for immortality." Ryndor laughed."Of course with what you picked that may still be possible."
"Wait why do I get a choice." Greysen was confused.
"Simple all heros get a choice. Also in your next life can you not be so boring, I almost fell asleep checking your life for heroic deeds." Ryndor then touched Greysen's forehead. Greysen passed out again.
Now where am I, Greysen tried to look around but couldn't. He could see his hands and his feet only and it seemed dark. Oh shit I'm a baby and I haven't been born yet, I wonder if I can cultivate. As hard as Greysen tried he couldn't cultivate in fact he couldn't even move.
Don't most babies kick and move I've been in here for a long time and no matter how hard I try I can't move. although I feel like I'm gaining strength everyday. Wait what's that why is everything moving. This was of course because Greysen was being born. After a day Greysen seen his new mother, she was beautiful, women on earth never looked like this and his father looked like a Greek God.
"Elizabeth what should we name him?"
"We've talked about this Ryan, he'll take your family name but his first name will be my father's."
"So Drake Almeideis it is then, little Drake will you be our savior?" Ryan then noticed something disturbing. "Quick get the elder something is happening."
Elder Neim was already thousands of years old. It wasn't often that he was called to a birth usually he wouldn't see a new addition to the clan until they were 10 and ready to form their dantian.
"What seems to be going on Ryan?" Elder Neim questioned his banished son, of course being his son he was still part of the clan as was his wife but they had gone against the wishes of their families and so are no longer allowed to use their resources. Ryan of course was still in his heart but he could only stay there unless a miracle happened.
"Our son Drake." Elder Neim frowned. "Almeideis." Elder Neim sighed. "Father our miracle is here, I called you because you need to help our son form his dantian." Elder Neim was shocked he immediately went to Drake and followed the energy spiral and realized he couldn't do it alone.
"Go get Elder Drake. It seems you two have better vision then the rest of us. Pack your things I'm sure both the families will fight to have you back in there respective clans either way the boy needs to be protected." Elder Neim wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a calamity.
Once Elder Drake showed up Elder Neim conferred with him and then they got to work helping Drake form his dantian.
