Feeling my body move, I wondered why it wasn't painful. Too scared to open my eyes, I remained still. It was until my legs got to wooden floors that I realized I wasn't in the machine anymore. I opened my eyes slowly to verify what was going on but immediately got startled by the scream behind me. It was full of pain and agony. Taking a sharp turn was to a very gruesome sight of my master shred in pieces. It was so revolting I felt sick in the stomach. The scream abruptly stopped when it got to his chest region. Apparently he was dead. Seeing how fast it happened, it was only obvious that the process was sped up. What was remaining of him now was just his body from the head to half of his chest. I couldn't hold it anymore and spilled all that was in my stomach on the floor. I looked at the pieces of body on metal plate stationed for refining woods after the cutting process was done and threw up again. I couldn't still get the sight out of my head. I stared into space for a while then stood straight and wiped my mouth properly. I didn't know whether I should be happy that I lived or not. I didn't know where I'd go after this. What will I do next. How would I live without my brother. Without looking back to see the face of my savior, I ran out of the machine room. " Elias! Elias!" I screamed my lungs out. I started the search from my masters harem. Master? He's dead now so I no longer serve him, that's a relief. Bursting into the room to find it totally empty. I rustled through the things in the room, from the washroom to the meeting room, but I still couldn't find him. Wait, is that not sobbing I hear?. Quickly I turned to spot the direction the sob came from. Looking around for a while, I found the sound coming from a spot near a chair. I moved closer to the sound and found it coming from under the ground. Removing the carpet there, I saw a lock. So there was indeed a secret hideout here and I never knew about it despite how many years I've lived here. Pathetic. I hit the floor hard to have it's wood crumbling down. Someone must have hid him in here otherwise it won't be locked from outside. It seemed dark so I took along with me, a candle. Jumping into the hole to find it slightly dark, I called out. " Elias?" *Sobs harder*
I put on the candle in my hand and pointed at the direction of the noise. This frame, this frame couldn't possibly be my brother. It was so small, I could tell it was a kid, probably around nine years old. " Hey" I called out but received no answer, just more sobbing. "umm, hi." *Silence* Ahh what I'm i saying. " Hello little one. Pause "I'm Sadiki. Sadiki not here to hurt you". That kinda worked to get his attention. " Um, will.... will you come with me." I saw the frame move his head, indicating that he won't come. "Hey, it's ok. I'm here to help you. Just give me your hand will you" after a while of persuasion, the kid finally agreed. " That's it. Good boy. Now follow me, step by step." So he doesn't trip on the broken woods and bent nails on the floor. Eventually, we both came out of the hideout and I noticed, it was a girl. A very cute beautiful girl. Blonde hair, blue eyes, very petit and flawless. " My God" I exclaimed. What a disaster. What do I do now. For finding her, I'm obviously her responsibility now. I can't possibly leave her here, my heart wouldn't allow that. That's right, my brother! Holding the girls hand, I led her outside the harem and into the bear parlour. It was a gruesome sight for a little girl her age to witness. But I couldn't possibly do anything, she just had to see it. Very sad. I led the girl to a half broken chair and sat her down. Back to the pile of damage, I began rummaging dead bodies and objects to see if I could find my brother. With the hopes that he was still alive, just wounded. Even if it's the worst part where he's dead, he deserves a proper funeral. Turning bodies and removing broken furniture, I searched and searched and searched but he was no where to be found. If I didn't find Elias or if I found him dead, I'd kill myself. I had nothing to live for anymore. I heard a noise and turned to find the small girl on the floor, checking out her foot. Maybe I still had something to live for. I went to her side and found out that she was hurt. " Oh dear, does it hurt much?" She shook her head. Ahh what a strong girl. She knows just this thorn of wood is not enough to break her. Well that's something to hold onto. I gently removed the thorn from her leg, immediately all that had happened today struck me and tears began flowing down. It got to me now, I've lost everything, absolutely everything. I cried harder. The little girl in my arms raised my head to face her. And wiped part of my tears away. " Hey little girl, it's useless. Even if I stopped crying, it won't bring back anything so let it flow." She just looked at me like I was mad. Of course she wouldn't understand me or what just happened, but wait didn't she have parents here? I've not seen her here before so it only means she came here with someone. Why doesn't she look for them. Why is she not crying, but an adult like me is. What's this? I looked deep into her blue eyes and searched for what I didn't know. I held her gaze for a while but found no grief. " Y-your parents?" I didn't know how to put it to her if she indeed lost her parents but she just kept staring at me speechless. " Mama? Papa?" I said to try and get her attention but it seemed like she didn't care. Wait, did she lose her parents long before this? That's very plausible otherwise she wouldn't be looking so unaffected. That settles it then. *Sigh*
I turned back to the mess infront of me and found no hope.
" Elias" a drop of tear fell from my eyes. " Where are you. Don't leave me please....your all I've got. Don't leave me too. I won't last without you."
