CHRISTOPHER
I tugged at my tie as I relaxed deeper into the chair. It was a good day to call Simone, but I didn't want to get used to her, she would start to think she was important. I sighed as the man seated across me finally smiled and shook my hand.
"I guess I'll see you on Monday, then."
I tried my best not to glare at him. The only reason why I had gone through all this stress, even to the extent of having a casual meeting here at a club, was because Dad wanted to close a deal with his company. To be honest, I still didn't see what he would stand to gain. There were plenty of better companies. But I didn't argue. My job was to follow his orders.
"If you are staying for longer, I could arrange for one more girl to be added to the ladies that will be here tonight," He winked at me.
The offer was tempting, but he was still a fresh business partner. So I did the needful. "That sound like fun, but I have some work to do today. Maybe next time."
