Hope Hospital…
Veta came out of the ward and saw Carlos and Dr. Carson chatting in front of the children's ward. She looked at them and turned, walking away.
Carlos turned and looked at Veta as she walked away. Dr. Carson noticed this and asked.
''Dr. Veta is quite a good catch, right?''
''Huh? What do you mean?'' Carlos asked.
''You and your brothers gave them shelter. It can't be because you are so generous or don't have anything doing with the apartment, right? I see how you look at Dr. Veta lately. I think your parents would love her too. She is a great woman.''
''I don't know what you are talking about.'' Carlos said and started walking away.
''Think about it, boy!'' Dr. Carson said and chuckled.
Carlos walked to the breakroom and saw Veta making a cup of coffee. He smiled and walked in. When Veta finished making the coffee and was about to pick the mug, Carlos snatched it out of her hand and took a sip.
