Inside the courtroom, the Avery sat next to her attorney while Yu Huo and his lawyers were also seated at one end. The courtroom was filled with people and reporters who had come to the hearing. It was a case that the public was interested in.
Seated behind Avery's table was Veta, and her sisters. Lin Shen and Ana. Jessy and Shiao. George and his brothers too were all there.
''Your honor, I present to you the new evidence and witness that we found. We would like your honor to grant us the opportunity to direct exam the witness.'' Avery's lawyer, Attorney Yin said as she passed the documents to the judge.
''Your honor, it was never stated by the victim's side never stated that they had new evidence or a witness. I ask your honor to quash the witness arraignment.'' Yu Huo's lawyer said immediately.
''You may exam the witness. Let the witness come before the witness stand and swear the oath.'' The judge spoke.
