Cynthia specially brought this spectacles to keep herself updated about people faces that she has never seen.
She finally coughed to yank his attention at herself after seeing that the man kept staring the male customers that stepped inside the café.
He and the other two behind him threw an indifference look at her.
"Sorry young lady, but this chair is already acquainted by my friend. I know you must be thinking about having a flirty chat with me but not right now. Sigh… what should I do, I am so handsome".
He folded his both hand behind his head and leaned on it, giving a pitiful look to Cynthia, who has no expression on her face whatsoever.
Huh… as I thought.
My glasses are never wrong! He is a narcissist from head to toe.
Cynthia chuckled as she shook her head at his confidence.
"Nice to meet you, I am—"
She didn't get to complete her word when he let out a sigh in distress and interfered before she could complete her words.
"As I said, I am not interested in you, please go".
Hearing his words, his two intelligent friends slammed their head with their hands. They seemed better than their stupid friend who couldn't even grasp the situation.
Cynthia took a look at her watch and took off her laptop bag before taking a seat across him.
Eric was startled. He has never seen a girl so stubborn and reluctant to leave him.
He was about to shoo her away when this time Cynthia stopped him from saying anymore, "You are Cactus king, aren't you?".
He felt flattered and nodded while fanning himself without realizing what the situation was.
"I never knew you are a follower of mine. You must be following me even at the gaming site, right?" he flaunted his greatness of having a follower and made a painful face that described 'how great I am! I feel bad for stealing all this lady's heart'.
I was wrong!
Dumbfounded Cynthia. "…"
My glasses are not perfect. It failed to describe that this man was a fool, too.
She looked behind Eric and saw the two men sneaking a peak at her while hiding behind their goggles. But Cynthia eyes were, too sharp to not have seen that yet she ignored and frowned at Eric.
With exhaling in irritation through her mouth, she said it loudly, "I am Frost lord, stupid!".
It was just, too, hard to keep going on with his foolishness and she ended up sneering at him.
One of the men behind Eric coughed out the water. He was Wayne Loxley and currently was having a hard time in holding his laughter.
Eric slightly glared back with a stunned face and threw a look back at Cynthia, "What… what did you say?".
His eyes wide open in shock. It appeared that it was the first time he heard some ego smashing words and even from a girl that he said he wasn't interested in.
Cynthia nodded.
The fire inside her was flaming. Her patience was running. She went outside after years ago and the first person she met was a dumb human, who can't help but showcase his love for himself.
She felt her luck was running.
Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she said again to the man in front of her who was in his formal wear, "I am Frost lord. The one who lost from you after winning for hundred times".
"Muhahahah…."
Wayne felt helpless in front of the laughter that was swelling in his stomach. He might lose his urine control if he endured anymore and hesitated from laughing out loud.
"Oh my god! I should have made a bet with Eric had I known that the Frost lord was really a girl".
Wayne got up from his chair and took a seat next to Eric as he took off his goggles. He was wearing black tailored made shirt and black suit. They both were in formal wear and after he made his appearance, Ed came forward, too and looked at the empty seat beside Cynthia.
Taking the seat two meters away from Cynthia, he sat far away from the table with a flower pot.
"Sorry. We must would have startled you! I am Wayne Loxley and this is my brother Eric Loxley. And he is…". Wayne scratched his forehead as he pointed at Ed, who was still wearing his goggles and also hand gloves in the hot weather.
Cynthia was never startled to begin with and her glasses has done its work of introduction so, she doesn't need one.
Just one glance at Ed, and she knew who was he and what will happen once he took off his big goggles. It might attract bees and ants and she disliked crowded area the most.
"No, I don't believe it. Have a match with me. I am sure you will lose," Eric frowned like a child who was having a hard time in digesting the truth like the bitter medicine.
"And, why can't you believe it?" Cynthia tilted her head while keeping her frown deep inside.
"Because I don't believe girls can play it like a pro. I am sure that Frost lord must be trying to hide, so he sent a substitute here," with a proud face he insulted Cynthia.
