Swamp Dweller Cryptid

The Cosmic Myth Hunters

Animal spirits, rare bloodlines, monsters from three realms, and eight families of Astral Conjurers. These are the things that unexpectedly enter Kairav’s life when the young cryptozoologist encounters a mysterious stranger during his expedition to find cryptid animals on a remote island. The stranger’s first words are, “Are you one of the Astral Conjurers?” “My bull spirit saw a unicorn spirit behind you. But that’s strange... didn’t the Pure-Hearted Clan die out hundreds of years ago?” That unexpected statement leaves Kairav shocked. The mention of a unicorn immediately brings back memories of his younger brother’s mysterious disappearance years ago, and of the day he awoke in the woods, face-to-face with a golden-horned unicorn spirit that healed his dying dog. From that moment on, Kairav sets out on a journey to uncover his true identity. His quest takes him from soul-searching in a haunted mountain forest to discovering a mysterious inscription under a step pyramid, one that speaks of Eternal Holy Water. He travels to the eight cardinal directions, solves complex puzzles, and faces mysteries. Author’s Notes: Hello, readers! The Erratum

“Aegir..” A single word remains in Cetas’ mind as he succumbs to the everlasting pressure of the depths - a glimmer of light filtering from above. He floats endlessly, the tidal currents rushing his body to who-knows-where yet he remains unconscious as the word echoes in his mind. He no longer remembers any memories that he once had but only mere fragments of what his past once was. A depth-dweller. A long lost race of ancient, forgotten in history as humans usurped the throne of the world, claiming superiority amongst other races of legend. After the war of mystics, only humans endured to live and gather themselves once more - dominating the entire world by force. Yet, depth dwellers remained - hidden and forgotten. And now.. The first would rise up on the surface. For hours upon hours, Cetas let the currents take him away, rendering his consciousness useless everytime he woke up. But now, it seemed that a warm and radiating light pierced his very pressurized skin. It was.. unfamiliar. He opened his eyes only to be greeted by a rocking hull, shaking synchronously with the sound of crashing waves. Yet, somewhere near him, he heard a faint and soft voice speaking a foreign language. He shifted his head to the direction of the voice and saw an unfamiliar face of a golden-haired lady with sea-like blue eyes, staring at him with utmost curiosity. The lady opened her mouth and let out another wave of unfamiliar words. Perplexed, Cetas sat up slowly, moving his body sluggishly. He then gazed at his surroundings, first staring at the massive rocking hull and onto the wooden floor and to the people surrounding him. Some wore bandanas and others wore white-loose blouses paired with leather boots and tricorn hats. However, Cetas wasn’t at all surprised by the unfamiliar scenery. But rather, he gazed above the sky, reaching far beyond the clouds, and saw the burning sphere of light that penetrated his deep-black eyes. Upon staring for 5 seconds he instinctively winced in pain. “Ow!” He looked around once more, pacing his head back and forth towards the unfamiliar people around him, and pondered, “Where am I?”

She Strikes Back: The Heiress’s Epic Revenge

With no surname of her own, Rosalie was raised as a nobody among the commoners in the orphanage. She pushed herself to become a genius guild master in the backstreets of her kingdom and achieve one goal: find her family and reunite with them. Her efforts finally bore fruit when her informants discovered a young lady who looked exactly like Rosalie and had the same rare pink hair. That girl was Elara Highmore, the sole heiress of Count Highmore. The revelation was a blow that shattered Rosalie. Not only did she have a twin sister, but the Count family — who had the means to find their lost daughter if they wanted to — had purposefully abandoned Rosalie in the orphanage. She was heartlessly replaced by her own twin, an heiress living a blissful life a few blocks away from the information guild. "Why did I have to live a life of poverty when I am a true heiress to the Count’s family?" Rosalie’s voice shook with betrayal as she asked her gathered informants. But none of them had any more information to give her. Determined to make a comeback and seek revenge on those who wronged her, Rosalie decided to kidnap Elara Highmore and blackmail the Count. Never could she have imagined that when she finally entered Elara’s room, her twin would be dying all alone with nobody around her. “Elara!” Even with the firm lock on her heart, Rosa was deeply shaken by the loss of her twin. She regretted coveting Elara’s life and decided to punish whoever it was that murdered her. Assuming that the culprit was someone in the Count’s manor, Rosa held her breath and waited for someone to knock on her sister’s door. Soon enough, someone did. “My Lady, you must come out and meet your guest this time. I assure you it is not your fiancé, the Marquess, so you do not have to pretend to be sick! We can’t dismiss a Duke from seeing you, after all, can we?” The maid giggled shamelessly on the other side of the door. A fiancé her twin sister didn’t want to meet, a maid who looked down on the Count’s sole heiress, and the only Duke in the kingdom coming unannounced and seeking an audience with Elara while her parents were not present. Rosalie was certain that one of them was the murderer. “…Tell him that Elara Highmore will be right there to meet with him,” she declared. Not long after, the entire kingdom fell into chaos with the scandals that swamped most of the noble houses. And Lady Elara Highmore — who was in the middle of all those scandals — vowed to destroy everyone who came her way. There was one exception to that rule: Duke Kael Dragomir who had a revenge plan of his own. Can mortal rivals become trusted allies? Will two people driven down the same dark path be able to gain each other’s trust and find the keys to unlock each other’s hearts?

I Fell Into A Third-Rate Smut Novel As A Trashy Gangster

It wasn't really a popular smut series, just one of the dregs left alone to rot for ages in the far reaches of the internet. A wish-fulfillment story where the protagonist gets NTR'd into oblivion in the beginning, before awakening his dormant werewolf bloodline in sheer rage and utterly demolishing all antagonists, while collecting beauties at every step of the way – A typical smutty revenge story. But instead of the usual magical fantasy, this story's premise was based on sci-fi – taking place in an alternate version of Earth where aliens were real, urban legends like werewolves weren't mere figments of imagination, and the government was hiding a f*cking EXTRATERRESTRIAL STARSHIP inside an underground lab in Area-69...!! "...F*ck." ...All I did was send a small donation to this unpopular novel's Author, saying that he shouldn't give up writing. And after falling asleep in my room last night, I strangely found myself transmigrated inside the novel world! Well, good news was – the main character was a gigachad who could operate the hidden Starship thanks to his awakened werewolf bloodline, and fight back when the enemies of the Starship's creators invaded Earth and started raining down plasma beams from space! ...And the bad news – the man I possessed was a third-rate gangster who was supposed to cuck the main character, indirectly assisting in his bloodline awakening. "....f*ck my life..." Now, if I don't cuck him, humanity in this world would go extinct from an overwhelming alien invasion. And if I DO cuck him, I would die to the enraged MC's rampage! "...Ah, sh*t. If I'm going to die anyway, let me have some fun in my remaining few days. Hmm, but I should book a flight to Africa first..." *Ta-ting!* [Bloodline awakening condition has been unlocked!] "...Huh? Now what the hell is this?" ----------------------- WARNING: This novel will have occasional corn (not the vegetable-kind), so if you haven't yet delved into the defiled swamp of degeneracy (meaning if you're not an adult), I recommend that you stay away from this novel. ----------------------- Join the Discord Server: https://discord.gg/EAx7ta5rpp

Akashic Chronicles: Paradise Lost

"Attachments are unneeded" It was both the first and last thing my old man told me. To be an effective killer you must not feel for the enemy. To be an effective mercenary you must not feel remorse. A contract is a contract. The Client is god for us. To us the value of money is more important than ideals. Hope won't feed you. Sometimes those very same ideals could poison your entire being. Possess you into something more than what you aimed to be. Embrace nothingness, Coin is God. That was the mantra of every mercenary. That was what I believed for so long, until I met her. She pulled me out of that murky swamp. Shining an inexhaustible light, creating a solid path we could tread on to. She was the reason I could keep on moving forwards. The only reason I gave a damn about anything. However, soon enough, like all roads, it soon crumbled into rubble, nothing but relics of bygone memories remained. Plunging me back down deeper into that black and murky waters once more. I reveled in it. I let it consume me, become the very thing we swore to destroy. The very same thing my old man told me about. A monster borne from the hypocrisy of those ideals, yet desperately clinging onto it like a mad man. This is the tale of a fool who once known love, oh so beautiful yet poisonous it consumed him. A tale of a fool who yearns for redemption yet revels in his own self hatred. A monstrosity borne not from necessity, but from anguish.
