"Welcome in my trap. No, I meant… in my house," Ed chuckled uttering some shameless words in her ears after getting closer to her in the room beside his where the kid was still sleeping soundly.
He has cornered the girl against the wall and blocked her path to escape by putting his hands on the either side of the wall beside her shoulder.
Cynthia looked extremely confused about the situation. All she wanted was to see the kid but the situation looked weird. This man with concealed motive has a grasp of her through his sly eyes.
Just a little while ago, Cynthia succeeded in getting away from Ed's parents. After talking to Mr. Reynard, she was overly exhausted and scared since his words and eyes felt as if he has taken her as his daughter… in law!
She can't care less about it and finally Ed took her to the room where the kid was sleeping throwing away his excessive vigilance.
