"Mom, dad… this kiddo is crying again," he shouted from the corridor to call his parents in order to comfort the kid while still holding Cynthia's hand.
She was dumbfounded. At least, she was expecting him to go and sooth that crying child heart by patting his head but this man took advantage of her once again.
These things were absurd. Cynthia stared him with her narrowed eyes and frowned, shoving his hand away and sneering at him, "lets have a clear talk".
"No matter what 'talk' you want, it's useless. The contract will work the same unless you beg me a thousand times… still it will not help. Either marry me or give your family company to me… its up to you," he nodded his head while his brows remained lifted.
