It was still noon. Logan could still do a lot after spending a long time sleeping for no apparent reason.
"Alice…"
"Yes, brother…"
The three people were sitting in the same place as before, turned to Logan, coming with their respective expressions, Sara with a calm and confused face, Sam with a relaxed and flat look, and Alice with a clueless one.
"Eeh… Something happened to my brain."
Logan tapped his head twice and smiled.
"Can you follow me somewhere? I need someone to guide me so… I won't get lost."
Alice nodded, then got off her chair.
"Mom, Dad, let me go for a while."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm okay, Mom."
Sara walked over to Logan and touched her son's cheek.
"Don't force yourself too hard, okay?"
Logan nodded, then pulled Alice's hand.
The door opened. For the first time in his new life, Ka Hyun-Su witnessed firsthand the outside world he was living in. The setting was like medieval Europe. Buildings were usually made of stone and wood in brightly colored paint.
People were a combination of ordinary people and adventures. Some wore cotton clothes, others wore armor or leather, along with their respective weapons.
Ka Hyun-Su had spent 10 years writing the story, with all the world-building he'd also done so neatly. He didn't expect it would be confirmed in front of him this time. He became more and more curious about the other elements that existed in this world, other intelligent races, monsters, or how the battle with immense power would occur.
"Brother?"
Logan was still holding Alice's hand, although it seemed strange even with his memories. Logan didn't hold back the slightest bit. He didn't want to let go of the happiness he was feeling right now.
"Yes?"
"Where do you want to go?"
"Awakening temple."
Awakening temples were where adventurers reached out to God to awaken their class. Simply put, the Class was the identity of an adventurer. The abilities they get will be in line with the Class they have.
They walked along the side of the street, past fast-moving people, dodging now and then to avoid collisions. Alice followed every step taken by Logan with the same agility. With her tiny body, Alice looked more agile with her movements.
"Can you tell me more about class awakening?"
"What part do you not understand?"
"Why can someone have a class with different grades?"
The grades in this world were pretty easy to understand, starting from the F as the lowest and SSS as the highest.
"Can you show me your status window?"
Alice walked at a faster pace, following Logan's long strides. She nodded, after which an information window appeared in front of Logan.
[Name: Alice Evans]
[Tier: 1]
[Class: Grade D (Unawakened)]
[Strength: 7]
[Dexterity: 15]
[Intelligence: 17]
[Constitution: 8]
[Charisma: 9]
[Luck: 21]
Alice's overall status looked reasonable for a child her age, although with a high Dexterity. She had trained enough to reach such a high value.
What surprised Logan was her luck status which was even higher than Logan's total luck after being combined with Ka Hyun-Su's. In addition, having a D grade class was also not a joke. Logan himself initially only had an F grade class. If he didn't get help from God, his potential could quickly be overtaken by his younger sister.
"Okay, Alice. Do you know how to calculate the tier of an adventurer?"
Alice shook her head.
"Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Constitution are fairly easy to get. By killing monsters or training individually, one can increase all four stats."
Each person's four basic stats could indeed be improved by fighting and training them. For example, a wizard who spent more time doing research than going down in battle still has a high intelligence status.
"As for Charisma and Luck, it takes more effort. For example, doing a certain job or quest for God."
Alice nodded her head.
"Then, then."
"Okay, the total of the four basic stats determines the tier of an adventurer. A person will reach tier 2 if their total status points were 100, then 200 for tier 3, 400 for tier 4, and so on, every multiple of two."
"Wow… Is it because, for that reason, few people make it to the high tier?"
"Yes..."
Logan nodded his head, then recalled all the information about power mapping in that world. The people who reached tier 7 on the western continent were only 3, respectively, the kings of Vensalor, Akrasea, and Drucia.
For tier 8, it should be only the Demon Lord who has reached it. And tier 9 was the tier of the Gods. Although it was not impossible for others to also achieve it.
In fact, at the end of the story, Demon Lord and Elliot were both at tier 9.
Logan chuckled, remembering the long journey he had gone through while writing his proud story. He was interested in witnessing first hand all the events that would happen in the future. Including the tragic incident that happened to Elliot?
Although the incident looked tragic, that was the part that Ka Hyun-Su quite liked. He built powerful chemistry between Elliot and his love interest and soon ended it with the female character's death. The incident was enough to make many readers angry. But not Ka Hyun-Su, who actually felt it was one of the great successes.
"Okay, it's about the tier of an adventurer. And then, for the Class. They can receive it in return for their hard work. Actually, God judges a person's class grade based on the overall status they have, as well as that person's potential in the future."
"Huh?"
Logan looked back at his sister's cheerful, confused face, smiled, then continued.
"So, the first class that a person gets is based on the total status and potential he has when the awakening process is carried out."
"Then?"
"Therefore, the earlier someone awakens, it actually harms them. However, delaying it too long is also not good. Because without a class, one will have a hard time raising their status."
"Okay, okay. So if I want to get a class with a high grade, I have to increase my stats. But not too late to delay my progress. That's it?"
"Correct."
They spent the time traveling by discussing all things related to an adventurer and class awakening until the center of the town, where a large temple stood right in front of them. A building made of white stone stood as high as a 5-story building.
Exactly like Logan had in mind, except four giant statues were standing at the front. Four male figures were wearing a suit of armor and a robe.
"Who are they?"
Logan pointed at the four statues. They were displaying their own style. One with a giant sword thrusting it to the ground, the other with daggers attempting to slash at their opponent, one with a staff and a cloak, and another was empty-handed.
"Huh? Aren't they the Gods who rule the Awakening Temple?"
A God ruled the Awakening Temple, giving each adventure a class and the quests they needed to upgrade their tier. However, what Ka Hyun-Su knew based on his story, there was only one, not four.
