Rihanna understood why Alan said that word, she felt deeply hurt hearing it but it was to be expected. She was in the mistake of first humiliating Alan in front of Aaron, on her behalf. She thought Alan would understand and talk to her later about the issue of why she defended Aaron earlier.
She didn't expect him to take it to heart, she now knew she hasn't understood Alan well yet.
