"Hey! That hurt!" Alev shouted while rubbing his cheek.
"Are you coming back to your senses now?" The Death responds as he frowns and crosses his arms. "You didn't hear what I said earlier, didn't you?"
Alev couldn't help but hold his anger as he was confused about what it meant, he clearly didn't fully listen to what was being told by him after all, when his mind was already too far away reminiscing the past. But, his face is clearly showing a difference this time as he shows full attention to him.
"Geez, is that hit terrible and makes your ears deafen?" The Death said in disbelief, shook his head. "You really could die if you just run there with your current state!"
He added, "That's why I can offer help to you if you're willing to help me too in exchange!" He offered his hand with a grin on his face.
It was strange for Alev when looking at him put a grin like that, he just doesn't get what was going on with him as he eventually knew if it was hard to make him offer a hand for a long time. but suddenly the Death gives a willingness to do that.
Alev put a look of disbelief on his face while looking toward him, he frowned hard as he really didn't want to take up that offer even without hearing the details. It was a thing in his mind if it's going to be likely to deal with a devil.
"Seriously? Why are you showing your face to me like that? At least hear for a moment what I wanted too!" The Death said as he rolled his eyes.
Alev gave a bitter smile, 'Is there magic to read someone's mind? How could he know what I'm thinking?' He thought in his mind. "So what is it? What kind of offer can I exchange for you to help me?" He asked while giving a frown.
"Show me the excitement of this world! I wanted to know how exactly it feels living in the human world." The Death said as he showed seriousness on his face.
For a moment Alev got silent after hearing that coming from him, and of a sudden, he laughed in joy, he didn't really expect that was the thing though, but somehow knowing that was not a big deal made him relieved and laugh like that.
"Sorry, I'm not mean it. Can you explain to me why? It was strange for me hearing you wanted that thing." He was amazed and wiped a bit of tear that came out from his eyes.
"Hmm, seeing how humans have a strong determination made me interested in that. Ah, and because it was related to how I'm going to help you too after all." The Death said, raising his eyebrow.
The Death shows his hand and a flame comes out from his hand. The flame looks bright red with a darkish color almost the same as the color of blood. Alev knew if that was a strange fire to begin with, and by just a tiny amount of fire, he was already sweating a lot, feeling the heat.
"Was it related? So what's it?" Alev asked curiously while frowning hardly.
The Death curls up his lips and puts a big grin on his face, "I think it was ancient magic in this world, but if you asked me. This is the only method that will help you to survive in this current state. No, I think it will help you much living in this world! You're going to be a spirit contractor and make a contract with me!" He said with confidence and clenched his fist, putting down the flame.
He then continued, spawning up a scroll out from a thin air of a sudden and taking the scroll in his hand, showing it to him as he offered a needle in his other hand to make him sign a contract by using blood.
"Whoa, whoa, wait! I still didn't get it. How come I'm becoming a spirit contractor that can help me that much in this world, and what exactly was that?" Alev responded as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Geez, You're training your body every day, but you're not reading that much about this world don't you! You are going to be a sorcerer and by becoming a spirit contractor you're going to be the one and only spirit sorcerer in this world, I think, and with that, you can amplify your magic power with the help of the spirit you're contracted with. That's it!" The Death said as he offered the items to him again.
Alev gave a stare at him while still having a doubt in his eyes, but he was taken into consideration as he realized if that was the only thing he can do right now if he really wanted the power to help her and survive this time.
He closed his eyes for a moment, and a glimpse of his memory popped up in his head again, reminiscing a picture of his family. He was there alongside the other kids, who were the only family he had. He laughed in joy with them with happy faces playing with each other.
Furthermore, he opened his eyes and taking the needle as he used it made blood come out from his thumb. He pauses for a moment, looking at the Death's eyes. He continued to push his thumb into the contract, leaving a sign from his blood.
The contract has successfully been made by them, and suddenly, a word appears from the contract.
꧋ꦧꦤꦱ꧀
Its word means 'Bvanas,' when they read it, the word then ignites with a flame, and then a scroll is burned to ash showing a hint for them if the contract was already sealed.
"Bvanas?" Alev said in wonder what the words mean.
Crips, crips, crips!
He heard a sound that felt like a kindle was burning nearby, and suddenly the sound became louder as he saw that it was the Death, who was being burned by the fire. It burned so fast as he saw the Death's body covered with a big fire.
He was shocked to see a big fire burning him, but for a moment he realized if the fire didn't affect him at all, and surprisingly, the Death turned into a big fireball as big as Alev standing near it.
Alev realized if that thing was him as he recognized the hazy face in flames that looked like the Death's mask, a half skull mask with a horn, and suddenly it flew swiftly in the air circling around.
YAHOO!
A sound that comes from the fire, who heard in joy yelling that out. Hearing that makes Alev believe that it was exactly the Death he knew.
