"Why are you here again?" I looked at him in frustration.
"Has anyone told you, Evelyn, that you treat your customers poorly?" Then, he sighed softly. "I'm worried about your bakery's business."
"I didn't treat customers poorly." I wanted to roll my eyes, but I was too embarrassed to do something so indecent when I saw his handsome face.
"What do you want to buy?" I said to him as I put on a professional fake smile.
He looked around, as if he were looking at the products in the glass cabinet or looking for someone.
"Are you alone today?"
Hearing his question, I suddenly felt a sense of vigilance. I said carefully, "Mom and Dad will be back soon. What do you want?"
He raised the corners of his mouth gently and his expression looked calm, as if he hadn't noticed my vigilance.
"Two of the same bread as yesterday."
