I woke up when I heard mom's sweet voice calling me downstairs. I smiled when I smelled the delicious food she was cooking at that moment.
"Alyana, honey. Come down here, the food is ready!"
I immediately opened the door and shouted, "Yes, mom! Just a minute!" and then close the door to go to the bathroom for a morning routine. After doing so, I ran downstairs and saw someone sitting at the dining table in the kitchen. I couldn't see his face though, and that made me walk slowly, trying to take a peek at him.
Once I saw his face, my eyes widened and jumped to hug him. I miss him, I miss my dad. However, I didn't recognize him easily as he lost weight. It made me sad to think that he is not taking care of himself when we are not around.
Nevermind, now that he is here. I will give the things he needs. Q
"Dad! I thought you would not come home yet. I missed you!" I told him. I can see his genuine smile at me.
