I already saw the Chairman in one of the meetings back then, but talking to him and being with him in one table hits different, it's giving me chills.
I am now sitting at the grand table with Sir Nix beside me. Kaye promised to follow after some minutes and I was just waiting for her, wondering where she was right now. I am being conscious of how I look right now, Miss Sarah keeps on staring at me with her eyebrows up. Zach is also here, and he is focusing himself to the food while waiting for the Chairman.
"I am just wondering why is she here? We don't need her, really." Sarah suddenly said, I thought she was talking to someone but when I looked up she was literally fixing her eyes on me.
"She's my secretary, do you have any problem with that?" Nix replied. I gulped, I don't want them to fight because of me. It might trigger the thoughts of me being fired. I can't lose this job.
