Chapter 6 - Chapter 06. It's Not A Dream

An Na blinked her eyes until her vision was completely clear. Looking at the ceiling of a familiar room, she was stunned for a moment.

"Was it all just a dream?" she muttered.

"Aunt Liena…" called An Na when she found the middle-aged woman next to her.

"Aunt Liena, wake up. Why are you sleeping here? Your body will hurt," she added, trying to wake her up.

Seeing the dress she was wearing, An Na sighed, "It seems like it was just a dream," she muttered in relief.

"Miss… Miss An Na…" Liena was delirious, and at the same time the middle-aged woman woke up from her sleep. Taking a sitting position with a surprised expression.

Their eyes met. Miss An Na who saw Liena's reaction reflexively chuckled.

"Did you have a bad dream, Auntie?"

The middle-aged woman blinked her eyes, "Miss, you're awake. How do you feel now? Are you hurt? Do you feel pain in certain parts of your body? Tell me, Miss," said Liena immediately storming the little girl with many questions.

An Na's brow furrowed, "What are you saying, Aunt? How can I get hurt when you take care of me all the time. I'm fine, why are you worrying about me like that?" replied An Na. It seemed that she thought that the bad incident that happened to her today was a nightmare.

Instantly a sigh of relief sounded from Liena's lips. "Thank God, I'm so happy to hear that. I'm sorry, Miss. I'm sorry I didn't catch up with you today, next time don't do anything dangerous again, Miss, whatever happens, you make me worry, very worried," said Liena while holding the hands of the little Miss who was currently looking at her innocently.

"You have to promise me, Miss. Whatever happens, you have to stay alive. Don't ever do something as dangerous as today again. I can't imagine if someone didn't save you soon, Miss. If you are disappointed and angry, you can vent all your feelings on me, Miss. I will do anything for you, as long as you are happy, then I will be fine," she added, Liena sobbed. Knowing all that Miss An Na had done today, she felt like a failure as her maid.

"Miss An Na, You don't need to be discouraged. I believe, someday, you will find your happiness," said Liena again, chattering continuously.

An Na was stunned to hear all the words of the middle-aged woman.

'So all those bad things weren't a dream?' she thought. Instantly her facial expression changed, her happy face turned languid and her eyes were filled with tears. An Na lowered her head, buried her head between her knees, and hugged her knees tightly.

Liena who saw that was silent and didn't make a sound anymore. She didn't know what to say.

"Cry, Miss. Don't hold it in. I will stay here and accompany you," said Liena.

"I'm fine, Auntie. Come out, I'm sleepy and want to sleep," An Na replied, her voice shaking, it was very clear that the little girl was crying.

Liena took a deep breath, "Alright, Miss. Then go to sleep, but before that, you must eat, I put your dinner on the table there. I also prepared some herbs for you. Make sure you eat all of them before going to bed, Miss," said Liena and then got up from her place.

"Thank you, Auntie," said Miss An Na.

After Liena leave the room, An Na did not move from her place, still in the same position. The little girl wept bitterly, lamenting her fate.

Liena secretly watched her from behind the bedroom door, she couldn't bear to leave Miss An Na in such a state. Her heartfelt the pain and suffering experienced by the little girl, without realizing it, her tears were flowing.

It was raining again, the sound of the windows in the wind creating a heart-rending melody.

Slowly, An Na got off the bed and walked to the balcony. Immediately the wind hit her face, giving off a cold yet refreshing sensation.

Standing there for a long time, An Na never took her eyes off the night sky. Her thoughts drifted away. Her tears continued to flow and ran down her cheeks, accompanied by sighs that had been heard several times. As if An Na didn't care, that the cold night wind could make her sick.

'Who are you? Why did you save me so easily?' A Na thought.

'You have no right to help me, don't you know that it is hard for me to survive in this world?'

'I've given up. Save me from the cliff, you're only going to make me suffer even longer,' she thought continuously speaking, she wiped her tears. She felt ashamed and disappointed with herself.

She didn't know what bad things would happen to her in the future.

Suddenly her stomach growled, hunger made her wake up from her daydream. She just realized it turns out that since earlier, her stomach has not been filled with anything.

"At least now I have to live so that the efforts of the people who have saved me are not in vain," she muttered as she staggered towards a table not far from her place.

A month went by so fast. During that time, Miss An Na only spent her days at her residence. She never once had the intention of going out for a walk. All because she felt embarrassed to meet many people, especially her father.

News of the sect master's eldest daughter's talent spread quickly like a gust of wind. And that is a great disgrace to the sect. Miss Xiao An Na's flawed talent has tarnished the name of the mist sect as one of the top sects in the Barak kingdom.

And that caused Xiao Jun to have even less interest in his daughter.

This morning, the sun was shining very brightly. The sky looks so clear. Miss An Na was sitting on a bench in the garden behind her residence.

"Miss…Miss An Na, you must prepare immediately," Liena shouted from the front, causing the girl to turn around immediately.

"What's the matter, Auntie? Why do you look like that?" asked An Na.

"Your father is coming, Mr. Xiao Jun is coming, Miss. You must prepare immediately," Liena replied breathlessly.
