Sybil didn’t know what to do other than nod at Andrius telling her that he couldn’t feel anything. She didn’t want to show him how scared she was for him, she just wanted to help him as best as she could, and she needed a minute to process everything herself.
Her brain thought of everything that could go wrong as she ran her eyes over him. When tears started to blur her vision, she did her best to breathe and calm herself down. She wouldn’t be of any use to Andrius if she was freaking out and panicking.
“I’m going to try to move this wood off of you,” she finally decided.
“Well I can’t wait to see how strong the woman I’m going to marry is,” Andrius playfully said even though he was clearly uncomfortable. “I can’t get it off of me so I’ll be impressed if you can move it.”
