Before Sybil could even give an answer, Andrius began pulling her along towards where she assumed the library was. She was starting to realize that sometimes she really didn’t understand the man she was about to marry.
She didn’t know why he became so awkward and closed off at times, and it made Sybil worried that she might have done or said something to offend him.
She couldn’t think of any reason why he wouldn’t want her to see his room. Not only that, but the awkward exchange when he spoke of the Lovely Ladies was strange to her.
It felt to Sybil like he was closed off and didn’t want to share many parts of his life with her. That made Sybil sad because that wasn’t the type of relationship she wanted to have with her future husband.
After everything they had been through together, Sybil hoped that he would have trusted her more. And that he’d want to share things with her.
