"Please?" The girl, Mira her name was as Jade recalled, had the gall to pull out her bottom lip in a pout in front of her.
Did she want to die? "No."
"Pleaseee, Luna?"
Fuck off and die. "No, Mira. Have someone else sent in."
Mira huffed before dropping the comb on her bed. "Everyone else is busy caring for the warriors. I have been assigned to you."
"Why?" The word was out as a spit would be. Spit was not needed and so wasn’t the girl. "I can comb my hair on my own."
Even if it would be extremely difficult to comb her waist-long hair with one hand, Jade would do her best only to not let this woman touch her.
It made her skin crawl with how nice she was trying to be.
"Well," Mira picked up the comb again, "I could even massage your scalp and put your hair in a very pretty braid!"
Her long haircut is used to strangle the woman, right? That had to be the upside to having long hair.
"No," her answer remained the same.
