Kari looked amazed by the fact that Jade did not have any knowledge about what the Luna could do.
"I am aware that the humans can be uninformed," Kari licked her lips nervously, "but surely they know the importance of a Luna in a pack?"
Jade's eyes narrowed very slightly. Did this mean that the Luna's abilities were far greater than what Jade imagined them to be?
Jade gave her an apologetic smile. "Humans do not possess any kind of knowledge within the pack. Some are even unaware of the existence of shifters."
"Oh yes," Kari murmured to herself, "I’ve heard of that."
"Are you willing to tell me about them?" Jade knew that she had to push the young girl in the direction of where she wanted Kari to go.
Kari looked around them before lightly grabbing Jade's wrist. Without being told a word, Jade understood that Kari did not want to tell her everything in the middle of the pack. So she allowed Kari to lead her into the dense part of the woods.
