It was six am on a Monday morning and more importantly it was Opals very first day at the hospital. Opal had always known when people asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up she would always say doctor. And she stayed true to that after what seemed like an eternity of school. She had finally graduated, even though she was thrilled to start her new career she was also. Still half asleep, she turned off her alarm then unplugged her phone and put her slippers on. And of course she made her bed she was a total neat freak. Even when she was little she would never have her toys in disarray, then she went downstairs to make a cup of warm coffee and of course said good morning to her cat whiskers. After she started to get to work on making herself look presentable she had about thirty ish minutes to get ready. She brushed her teeth washed her face did her skin care, and then deodorant of course and perfume and then. She tackled her hair she brushed it and then put into a neat French braid. Then last but not least she threw on a little bit of makeup. After she had finished getting ready she put on her new scrubs and threw on a light jacket plus. A pair of comfy tennis shoes. Then quickly packed a somewhat healthy lunch and grabbed her water and bags then she was out the door! She safely secured her bags in her passenger seat and just as she was pulling out of the driveway her aunt had sent her a text wishing her good luck on her first day! Then she really was off to work it was about a 14 minute drive to the hospital. But her nerves made it seem all the more shorter.
