Chapter 8 - Wear dress

"Sh*t!" I suddenly drowned and was caught in my forehead. It's still 5am in the morning but I'm already awake. At such times, there are many food vendors in the plaza who are looking for a part timer.

"I think it's bleeding." I complained and touched my forehead again. I was in such a hurry because I didn't realize that I am going to have a door to go out.

I hurried out of the house while still adjusting my black rubber shoe's and combed my own hair with my own hand.

"Here!" I called the driver on the corner. He immediately wave back and drove towards my direction.

"Where are you Miss?"

"In the park," he nodded immediately and I went inside and sat down. I can't stop the map in my mind what it feels like to be unemployed and just wake up when it's time to eat. I don't even want to admit it… but that's one of my dreams.

I secretly laughed.

It seems that my dream is too shallow, isn't it?

"Here we are, Miss." I turned to my left and got off from the trycle. I handed the ten pesos fare to the Driver.

I rolled my eyes across this park. It's morning and a lot of people is already here. Some of them are exercising with their dogs, while the others are just sitting on the benches on the side of this park and the others are eating some soup and random snacks.

"I can do it!" I didn't go around anymore and I went to a food vendor who now sells soup and any kind of dish.

"Excuse me—" I hadn't even finished what I wanted to say when the saleswoman suddenly looked at me from head to toe and without any hesitation, she took my hand and immediately pointed at the cellophanes on the side.

"Take that, we have a lot of customers." Confused, I immediately obeyed her order.

"Y-Yes," I helped her put the dishes in cellophane, the others were earlier and then coffee. It's a good thing I'm good at blending coffee because I'm used to the coffee shop where I worked before.

I just took a deep breath once my ass fell on the stole chair at the same time my deep sigh.

"What's your name, lady?" I immediately looked at my side when the sales lady handed me a can of coke. I am still hesitant to accept that so she himself took my hand and put it there herself.

"Accept it…" I just smiled in response and drank the coke. "You are looking for part time, aren't you? " I looked again at what the sales lady doing and she is just smiling waiting for my answer.

I nodded softly.

"Yes, it's necessary, for more expenses." I don't know but why am I so comfortable with her? She smiled at my answer and turned her attention back to the absence.

"Honestly, lady. When I first saw you approaching my stole, I knew you needed a job, "I felt her look back at my behavior. "It's better to be poor, lady, than to be a rich that can't even be humble in any way." I also looked in the sales lady direction.

"What is fun in a person's suffering? That you're going to the point where you almost starve to death and commit suicide because of your excessive responsibility? " full of sarcasm I replied back to her.

She laughed softly. I'm right, I'm sure of that.

"When you're rich, you can't be content with small things, even if you say 'I'll be content with it' but that's not how life is. You can only say that right now because you are not yet in their position. It's fun to be poor, with just a small thing, you'll be grateful already. "

I shook my head in disapproval of what the sales lady said.

"We have different positions, maybe that will happen to others, but I don't want to get rich. All I want is for me to be able to eat sensibly for the third time in a day and take medicine for my Mom' medical expenses, "I replied softly to her.

I couldn't help but shed my tears but I wiped them away immediately. I don't want anyone to see me failing. I was just surprised when I felt a soft pat on my back.

"You know, I like your mindset, lady." None of my own wrinkled my forehead. How good is she at English for a stole vendor?

I just smiled and stood up.

"Wait, where are you going?" she is confused and stood up as well. My two eyebrows met immediately.

"I'm leaving, I helped—"

"You're looking for part time, aren't you? You are mine, many will buy from me when you are the tenderer." I immediately winced because of what the sales lady said.

"What am I, a clown?" she laughed at what I said.

"No it's not that, I'm just saying you're beautiful, and those are bonus points to get more customers, don't you think?" I grinned even more.

"So am I accepted?"

"Yup, but one more thing," she turned around behind me while his index finger was on her chin and it was as if she is thinking about something while looking at my whole bodd.

I'm nervous of what she is thinking right now, I think I already know it.

"I don't dislike your taste of clothing, yeah? But, you need to get dressed properly. " my forehead furrowed. I looked at myself.

"Is there something wrong with what I am wearing? I think it'sjust fine, though? It's jogging pants and a loose t-shirt, I'm not in a bikini. " the sales lady laughed again at what I said.

"No, it's not like that, what I mean is, I want you to wear a dress when you're here at work. Or even pants and a nice t-shirt that they can really say you're a woman. " she also looked at my hairstyle and he just nodded.

"Your hair is beautiful,"

"Is that really necessary for work?" she didn't seem to believe my question.

"Of course! You have to be presentable. " I just sighed. I can do nothing.

"All right, when do I start?"

"Tomorrow, come here around six in the morning." I nodded weakly and said goodbye. I suddenly stopped my step and looked at the lady again.

"Do I really have to wear that?" I asked her with a grin. The sales lady was shaken by the expression on my face as if heaven and earth had fallen to me.

She laughed softly.

"No formal outfit, no work." With a shrug, I walked away from the stole.

Gosh, I hate this idea.
