Chapter 11 - Informations

"Huh? Where are you going?"

"In Milan, I have an offer there, so I accepted it immediately." I saw the concern on Sister's face so I hugged her right away.

"I know that no matter how hard I try not to keep you going, you will keep going." I laughed out loud and slipped out of from Sister's arms.

"Don't worry, Sister. I was number 1 in taekwondo with us at school. Did you already forgot about it?" I boasted. Sister just laugh at me.

"Gosh, Dem. You're still the same as usual. Anyway, what's your job there?" my tongue immediately became silent. What will I say? Shall I tell the truth?

"Just a H-Health worker, something like that, yeah. The salary is okay though and also .. it's for my Mom's medication."

I lied. Half truth, half lies.

I'm sorry, Sister. I don't want to lie to you but I have to.

She simply smiled at me and gently touch my face.

"It's up to you, whatever your decision is, I will support you. Just promise that you will return to the Philippines intact and without scratches on the body, okay!" I laughed again because of what Sister said.

"It's like I'm shy about that, Sister. You know me, I'm a fighter—"

"Even though, Dem. You're still a woman, be careful there, huh? Don't worry, I'll take care of and watch over your Mother in the hospital. We'll visit her always."

"Thank you very much Sister, be careful here too. I will miss you and also the children's here at the center,"

"We will miss you too, Dem."

After that, I also informed the children's, I also went to my Mom's first. I want to see her face first and be with her while I'm still here.

God, whi is life so hard?

"Ma'am, it's time." I immediately look at the door when the man in a pure black suit entered. He is one of Mr. Christopher Bianchi's guard.

"I'll follow." I gave a polite response and he nodded as a response and left the room. I turned my gaze back to the soundly sleeping version of my Mom now. I gently held her left hand.

"Mom? Is this the right decision I made?" none of my own I question in the absence. I rolled my eyes across this room.

Spacious room, it has its own refrigerator and it is full of food, it also has its own heater and aircon inside and there is someone who takes care of Mom's condition from time to time.

I smiled.

"I'll leave you first Mom, okay? I'll be back soon." I brought my lips to her forehead and gave her a brief kiss from there and then gently stroked her left cheek.

"Get well Mom," it is my last words before finally leaving the room.

"Ready the car." I heard the body guard on my side say. People are still looking at us here because of the large number of them scattered outside. I feel like a politician who could die at any time with the amount of bodyguards sent by Mr. Christopher to me.

Another body guard had already opened the back of the black car. No, it isn't just a simple car, it's a freaking lemo! I went in there immediately and I was not surprised when I saw Mr. Christopher inside the lemoscine.

"So, are you ready, Ms. Galvez?" I rolled my eyes in the air because of the kind of question he is asking me and sat comfortably in the car in front of him. I am wearing only a black jogger pants and a simple white t-shirt that is still roomy on me and had only a small mark on the front.

"Will I ride here in this car—no, a lemo I mean if not?" I replied calmly and looked outside and was just shaken to see his scattered body guards. It seems like there is an actor in the crowd of people who are around and still looking at pictures of the emotionless faces of the body guards who are here.

I turned my attention back to the Mr. Christopher.

"The President of the country is ashamed of the number of guards you have, great." Full of sarcasm I said and even applauded him. He just laughed at me and really shook and took the wine glass that was on his side and poured it in the wine glass. He handed me one.

"No thanks and please, stop calling me, Miss. I hate it." With a smile, he just shrugged his shoulders and he is the only one who drink the wine he handed me. I feel the function of lemo so I immediately look outside the window.

"Are my passport and other documents I need, is already eady?" I asked the old man in front of me now while not looking in his direction.

"Yes. The passport, papers and also," he stopped speaking so my eyebrows rose immediately and I turned to look at him. He took something what is on the side of the table and handed it to me.

'Papers again?'

"What's this? I already signed the contract, am I?" Mr. Christopher just shrugged.

"No, that's not a contract, infact, it's my grandson informations written in there." I immediately turned the pages. My left eyebrow rose immediately when I read what was written in the documents.

"He was twelve years old when he disappeared? And what is this picture?" I even showed him the printed picture in the document and pointed it with my index finger. "How can I find him? He disappeared 15 years ago, so he must be 27 years old now? Tell me, how can I find him in this scarce and blurred photo?" I almost lost my breath because of the length of what I said.

I heard Mr. Christopher loud sigh.

"He disappeared when he was only 12 years old. We were in a cruise ship at that time …"

["Mom, Dad, please stop fighting. We are here to celebrate my birthday, right? It's eight day of November,"
