I bit on the inside of my mouth to stop the yelp that was already building on the inside of my throat as soon as Ash began to rub a soothing piling kbrd the part of my hand that was scalded. That spot was definitely going to scab over after a few days, and I didn't like how I was going to undoubtedly be nursing that hand for the next clone of days.
