Andy's POV
The whole class suddenly got rowdy as everyone made to exit at once but I wasn't making any attempt to get out of my seat, and neither were my friends. We were all still seated, and I dug my phone out from my bag, in order to get to my best friend. I decided to leave him with a text, but decided against it before I had been about to send the text. I ended up deleting all that I had typed and decided on leaving him a call instead.
He picked up on the second ring, voice deep and breathy as it poured into my ear. "Hello Andy."
The words were simple, they were two simple words which I've heard a lot of times from him… but that has never stopped it from having the same reaction on me everytime. It didn't help that I was attracted to him, and my wolf was also smitten with him, coupled with the fact that my heat was around the corner. I could feel a small shiver slide down my spine as his voice washed over me, and it took me a nudge from Ella before I was able to get a grip on myself.
"Hey Ash." I whispered into the phone, hating how low and almost shaky my voice has sounded just now, but there was nothing I could do about it because he had already heard it loud and clear.
"Andy?"
"What's wrong?" He asked in the next second I felt my heart start to beat really fast against the side of my ribs. I started to shake my head a little even though I was sure he wouldn't be able to see me at the moment.
"N- nothing's wrong, nothing's wrong." I started to talk into the phone the next moment, as I lifted my head up to stroke my fingers through my hair a little. I brushed some of the strands out of the side or my ear when it started to feel way too ticklish for my liking.
"Are you sure?" He asked into the phone after a couple of seconds and I found myself nodding my head again.
"Uh huh, I am."
I glanced sideways to catch Ella staring at me curiously, and I moved my eyes around the whole class room, noticing that it was almost empty, safe for a few people hanging around here and there, completely doing their own different things.
"Where are you right now?" His deep voice pulled me back into the conversation and I blinked once before sweeping my tongue over my dried lower lips, and then I started to respond to him.
"Uh, in class, but class is over already." I informed him before remembering that we didn't even have any class to begin with, and then I started to rephrase. "We didn't have any class though, we just waited behind for nothing, the professor didn't end up showing up."
"Oh. So you're done for the day, right?" He asked after a few seconds and I glanced at Azriel for a moment before continuing.
"Yeah. That was why I called you actually. You're done for the day as well, right?" I asked this time, feeling a nervous heat start to curl up inside of my chest at that moment.
