'You're not wrong here but I hope what I'm about to say you won't turn out to be bad news.' I kept looking at dad, expecting him to leave.
'I'll be out of your hair, I'm sorry.' He stood up and left.
'Do you maybe want to sit?' Mum asked.
'Sure, I'll sit.' I sat and looked at her.
I hoped that our conversation was not going to make her become a bad guy in my eyes.
'Is something wrong?' She put her hand on my shoulder.
I recognized the look on her face, it was one of serious concern and all I wanted was for it to remain that way till the end of our conversation. I did not want to start feeling bad that my mother and sister were the cause of my brother's death.
'It's about Nate.' I finally said.
'Nate? Did you dream of him or something?' She questioned.
