I remembered how heartbroken I had felt knowing I was not going to eat mum's mac and cheese anymore when I thought she was dead.
'Yeah, let's eat mum's mac and cheese.' I hugged mum again.
'I missed you so much Eric. And maybe all this is for the best because Bryan has offered me a job, a remote job.' Alicia said.
'Really? That's wonderful.' Eric hugged her again.
Mum made a feast that night and when I got tired of sitting with so many people at the dining table, I excused myself and went to the balcony.
I liked the soft breeze that made my hair move around and how the stars sat beautifully in the sky. Then my alone time got taken away from me when Black Sin came to the balcony.
