My heart was thumping hard in my chest. I tried to imagine the news Gatlin brought with him, could it be possible that mum and Eric were still alive? But Alicia said she saw them in a bag. Or did her vision fail her?
We walked with Bryan to the elevator and went to the sixth floor. I knew he had conference rooms on every floor, so I was not surprised.
When we got to the room, Alicia was with dad and Black Sin. I knew immediately that the meeting Bryan had spoken about was not a job interview, it was a meeting with the detectives.
