I looked up and saw George. I did not expect to see him at the hospital, I thought he had gone back home but really, he had gone to get me a better breakfast than what the hospital served.
'Hey, George. I thought you left.' I chuckled awkwardly.
I did not want George and Bryan in the same room with me just yet. There were still too many uncertainties and the fact that I could not control the outcome of them getting acquainted bothered me.
'Hi, Bryan.' George stretched his hand for a shake and Bryan took it. That was a good sign at least.
'Bryan. I've heard so much about you and have we met?' George asked.
'If we have, I don't remember. Are you a friend of Kassy's?' Bryan asked.
They were nearing an awkward zone and I could not bear to watch.
