'Good morning.' Bryan said and dropped the tray on my side table.
'Hi.' I wiped the tears on my face.
'I'm sorry about earlier this morning. I shouldn't have spoken to you that way. It was insensitive of me.' He sat on the edge of the bed.
'Thank you. And thank you for breakfast.' I rubbed my eyes.
'You can freshen up and see Pink before I drop you off at Alicia's. I called your dad earlier and he says everyone is meeting there.' He stood up.
'Thanks.' I said.
When he left the room, I picked up the tray and tried to eat but I felt nauseous. I wasn't even hungry and there was no way I could produce any milk for Pink if I didn't take food.
I kept the tray and went to the bathroom. I needed to get ready to see Alicia because it was an important day in our lives. It was the day we had to come to terms with the fact that our mother was indeed gone.
