'No, I don't want hands to help me with my baby. Pink is not leaving this room until Bryan gets back.' I said, hoping for mum to support me, but she kept quiet.
'Good thing I'm here then.'
When I looked at the door, I saw Bryan standing there, texting. I hadn't noticed when he came so I could not tell how long he had been there.
'Why are you doing this? Are you planning to take Pink away from me?' I walked to him.
'Kassandra, why do you always think the worst about people? I am not trying to take our child from you.' He signalled to his workers to leave.
'Then what is all this? I'm on the fourth floor and my baby is on the eighth, how do I get to her?'
'The elevator. I assure you, it works at any time of day.' He smiled.
'I either stay with Pink or both of us don't stay here at all.'
'You can't decide that. She needed medical attention twenty-four hours a day, how are you going to pull that off?' He smirked.
