'Well give her to me, you can't hold her and sit at the front.' Mum said.
'I'm not sitting in the passenger seat, mum.' I wanted to hold Pink so badly.
'You'll be with her most of the time, let me just have this moment.'
I sighed and handed Pink to her and sat in the passenger seat of the car, then Eric began driving. It was refreshing to leave the hospital. Tears gathered in my eyes, and I was more than happy that they were tears of joy. I was not sorrowing over my child and that was more than enough for me.
It was either I had stayed at the hospital too long that I did not remember the way home or Eric was driving to someplace else.
'This isn't the way home.' I pointed out.
'We're going to Bryan's.' Mum said. She had said it so casually like I was supposed to know about it.
'What are we going to do at Bryan's?' I queried.
