'Hey, George.'
'Hey Kassy, is something the matter?' He asked.
'Well, right now I just need you to pick me up from the hospital. You don't need to come with a car, mine's here.'
'You're at the hospital? What's wrong? What happened?' I could hear the worry in his voice.
'It's a long story but I'll tell you when you get here.'
'Just text me the address, I'll be on my way now.'
Geroge was at the hospital in under ten minutes and then I was allowed to leave the hospital.
I did not realize how much I missed my freedom until I stepped foot outside the hospital gate. It felt very refreshing but the conversation I anticipated having with George in the car choked me.
'What happened?' He asked and started the engine.
'I bled a little yesterday and I was here.' I put my seatbelt on.
'Why did you not call your mum or dad or even Alicia to pick you up? Do they not know that you got admitted?' He asked.
