Nothing she said made sense. Kolin was still a baby, and he was definitely not ready for school. I always though Alicia was one of those attached mums, but she made it seem like she could not wait to get detached from her son.
'No matter what it is, you can't just let Kolin be away from family for long hours, I'm telling you, he won't cope.' I said.
'Well, when you have your baby, you can raise it how you like but Kolin is my child and I'll take the decisions I want to. Shall we resume our meeting?' Alicia snapped.
'I'm sorry for caring about my nephew. That is so wrong of me, and I won't be doing it anymore.' I said sarcastically.
'Kassy, I understand your concern more than anyone here. I am worried and afraid after everything that has happened in this family, but the truth is, we need money.' Eric said.
He sounded like he was a part of the family again like he did not care that Alicia was putting us first as she always did.
