'You can leave now, just get plenty of rest at home.' She smiled and walked out of the room.
Mum turned to me and smiled, I knew she was only forcing herself to do that. I knew she was worried sick about me.
'Mum, please call Eric, have him pick us up.'
She made the call and within an hour, Eric was at the hospital with Kolin.
I was extremely happy when I saw Kolin for the first time after I had just pushed him out of my body, but seeing him in that hospital room that day, healthy and happy, made me even happier.
I could not keep my hands off him, I asked Eric to give him to me and I carried him on my legs as the hospital workers wheeled me out of the premise.
'I thought you were going to leave Kolin with Kassy.' Mum said.
'I think she went back to your house, she hasn't been at mine since the incident.'
Eric drove mum and Frank to their house before taking Kolin and me home.
