Alicia was an extrovert, the biggest I had seen. It was extremely rare for her to pass the opportunity to go out and Eric saw right through her but after her hearty laugh of his dressing, he knew it was only right to get back at her.
'No. Since we are all here, let's go out together.' He said and smiled coyly.
I did not want to go anywhere, I was still preparing myself to forget about Nate and Jenny but I could not say no to Eric, I admired him.
My phone rang. It was an unknown number. I was scared at first but then I figured if anyone wanted something from my family, it was going to be smart for them to go through mum or Alicia.
I excused myself and went to my room. Upon taking the call, I realized it was Vincent. He did not need to introduce himself because his voice was like one of those that sounded the same over the phone and in person.
'It's Vincent, the bar, hospital and train guy.' He laughed.
